First grow - tips on what I'll need at harvest?

ISO/alcohol to clean scissors/trimmers. Baby oil to clean your hands if you don't use gloves...easier on the skin then iso/alcohol.

    Help with cloning(homemade aero)

Try to have sprayers/misters not hit plant directly or let them run short on periods and long off times between...gives the roots some "dry out" time. I think things are staying too wet for too long...kind of like over watering in soil. Just a thought...best of luck and happy growin' :P

Rockwool preparation - how much nutes?

No roots...no nutes. A rule I follow or I end up with algae on the cubes after awhile.

    How to power strip lights?

I did a build recently with 2' strips...same BXEB's though...here Basically if you use say a 42 volt driver like I did make sure to get a variable dimmable driver so you can turn it up or down to adjust to what you need.

    Gnats in hydro

You may be able to attract and kill some bugs with some simple safer traps too... QUOTE... In a small bowl, mix a half cup of warm water plus two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, a tablespoon of sugar, and about six drops of liquid dish soap. Gnats will be lured in by the sugary mixture, but...

    Gnats in hydro

Hope you cleaned the original bucket before putting the 'cleaned' plant back in or you wasted your time...besides killing what was on the surface. May want to look into a few drops of bleach if root rot starts...use it sparingly. :)

Move lights further away or drop intensity?

I would think intensity is better to change because if the lights are to high the plants could 'stretch' more towards the light, but that also happens with not enough intensity so either way will work to some degree...keep changing each until you find the 'sweet spot'. :)

    New to LEDs Need Advice

I'm not sure where you live, but maybe look into building your own lights....LED strips. It can help reduce costs...helps keep light coverage more stable everywhere...lots of benefits, but no warranty beyond parts warranty. I've built 2 sets myself...simple basic ones with 2 foot strips that run...

    New to LEDs Need Advice

Its usually around 30-35 watts per square foot for top quality LEDs and around 40-50 for cheapo lights. Not sure if your 9x9 is feet or meters, but if feet then it would be 9 x 9 x 30 to 50 = 2430 to 4050 watts total. Hope that helps some. Best of luck and happy growing. :P

    Linear Potentiometer 3 Terminal wiring?

Measure the voltage...then switch to amps...V * A = Wattage :) To get voltage you put a probe in each of the sockets pins/holes. To get amps open the hot line going to the driver...now 2 wires...each probe end goes to each wire on driver you just opened (2)...also you may need to move a probe...
