    Lava Dawg

Anyone ever grown it? I bought the fem seeds from a local dispensary, I believe the breeders name was Phinest Seeds. For various reasons I only got 1 plant from 10 seeds, but this pheno seems promising. Odor is almost like candy, kind of fruity with slight pine scent at the end. Sticky as a...

    Need help raising temps

I use an Amaze 250w panel heater in my room. Plants are set up to live above the panel, runs with inkbird. This is their smaller 250w but I believe they have 400 & 600.

First grow - need help diagnosing

Were they pretty rootbound in the old pots? This could be shock. I wouldn't start doing stuff just to do stuff. Assuming you watered it in well at transplant, let it ride a bit and don't water again till the pot feels light.

    Can't grow right

Old timer here. I learned most my stuff from a guy who taught thousands (RIP BOG). He emphasized the KISS method, even using Walmart soil back when it was fairly decent stuff. Personally, I use FFOF straight from the bag on everything from cuttings to flower. Tap water...if it's clean enough to...

    Question for Auto growers

Thanks, I'd like to think the same thing. This plant has the tightest spaced nodes and fattest leaves I've seen in many years of growing. And thank you, too. Since this one is starting 4 months at 18/6 with no sign of sex it sounds safe to assume it's photo.

    Question for Auto growers

Growing a seed found in an eighth of Wedding Cake purchased from a dispensary. I was thinking it was an auto due to its growth characteristics but haven't seen any sex yet. How long from seed should I expect to see flowers if it is in fact an automatic? I'm on 18/6.

    Anyone seen this?

That's one of those 2020 seeds. We're all fucked now.

    Transplant??

What michi said...loosen the plant from the pot...when you lift it out the rootball will stay pretty solid. At that point you can decide to transplant or leave it a bit longer. Water it in afterwards.

    Transplant??

I transplant when it gets root bound. Give the rootball a good going over to loosen it all up...I usually just use my hands or an old knife...then replant at the same depth in a larger pot with new soil. Water the hell out of it to settle soil and get rid of air pockets, you may need to add a...

    Whats wrong

If you're talking about the little spots on the leaves, I'd suggest you get your microscope and check the underside. Could be bugs

    BOG Seeds

Was just telling a friend today about BOG, so thought I'd google him. Sad news indeed. I also started in 2003, following his recommendations on OverGrow. He was a great teacher, his techniques were simple but effective. RIP

Thinking of killing these plants, opinions?

Those plants could be saved if you cut them back and put under proper light. I'd cut the big one off at the 2nd node from the bottom. I successfully use fluorescent tubes for veg, keep the light as close to the plants as possible without touching. Save the 650w hps for flower. If you're grow is...

What's the best light to veg under?

"Best Light" depends on your value. Do you want best growth, coolest, least expensive to run, etc...Just keep in mind there's always a trade off whichever light you use.
