  • Hey papa, awesome grow journal! Hope to start my own soon. Regarding your idea of using electrolysis for added DO, interesting idea but some things I humbly suggest considering: in swimming pools this technology is used to disinfect the water because along with H2 and O2, reactive oxygen species are created: H2O2 (peroxide) O3 (ozone) and OH- (hydroxyl radicals). Also, electrolysis will break down salts (in salt pools its breaking sodium chloride down into active chlorine). Aside from all this possibly sterilising your bennies and breaking down your nutes, it definitely will cause a change in pH (one last pool example: salt pools tend to shoot well past 9 if not buffered as the chlorine coming out the generator is 13!) Sorry for posting here, new to forums and can't find a PM function?
Hmm Im not a good guesser. Your gonna just have to come out with it :D Im really curious haha i've always thought I could!
    Hi Rose City Papa,
Below is the formula that Cavadge came up with using GH's series. Good luck. I am trying it right now myself.

    NUTES :
In general, 3-1-2 is good for veg, up to late in flowering, then maybe 2-1-2.

    Veg nute mix
For a nute mix, I reformulated a little to lower the amount of epsom salt being added, and increasing the potassium a little. I mixed up at 1/2 strength for 35 gallons, and ended up with a PH of 5.46 and a TDS of 999.
    Micro - 10 ml/gal
    Bloom - 2.5 ml/gal
    Liquid Kool Bloom - 2.5 ml/gal
Epsom Salt - 1.5 ml/gal ( measure up 22 gms, filled a 6 oz glass with hot tap water, and added the epsom salt. This yields an NPK of 3.06 - 1 - 2.29, with following blend:
hey whats up man i saw you just posted on that organic tea thread. Your post is helpful but for ma i am still kinda green so its a little confusing. i was hoping it was simple as getting the 5 gallon buket putting filtered water in it.

Then just simply measuring the addictves for the tea and simply dump in the water and stir and then aerate for 72 hours. Am I wrong? I dont understand the strainer and if i have to do that for my idea of making a great tea to work

    thanks robin
