OP you'll appreciate having the tent even if it's in a closet. You have total control of light cycle, very worth it. I recommend a 6" inline, don't skimp, watts are watts.. it takes a good inline to regulate temps. I'm very satisfied with this solution...

You could use plant stakes of some type, but not recommended to stab them through pots with established roots. maybe plant yo-yos? zip tie them to top of tent, the hook end holds the stem, adjust tension ad needed.. EBay or Amazon search "plant yo yos"
