  • hey veggie,,thnx for your help in the past,my transplant into the ground went awesome.....I value your knowledge and wanted to ask you your opinion on using molases. or is there something better you would recommend for my outdoor gals to get bigger.
Flavor comes from good growing techniques and curing. I have no secrets other than I cure my buds slowly. About a month from start to storage.
np, i have no pics of them no camera and lost my cellphone on the journey threw swamps and dence bush at the begining of this season and dont got any money to go out an buy either of those

ya mulch is on the buckets and threw sum mulch in the form of dried grass, twigs and sticks on top the holes and raised bed to make it blend into the surrounding area

any tips on how to make the tasteof ur plants stronger.... before u harvest
Sorry, I should have made myself clear. I very much appreciate the feedback. Especially that at odds with my advice. I've done a lot of reading, have nearly three decades growing the sacred herb, and over fifty growing a vegetable garden. I learn something new, every day.

I strive to give the best and most accurate help I can. I've had a lot of help in my life. This is one way I try to give a little back.

Please let me know how those plants fare. I think they'll be fine, but in the name of science, I'd love to see pix of two plants side by side in your garden. Plastic/No plastic, and see how they'd compare. I'd suggest you mulch the one without plastic. Mulching is the best way to conserve water, I know of.
oh no no im not argueing just trying to get things cleared up... since i am still new u no i only have 3 seasons under my belt and i wanna grow the best ganja possible
If you're doing it, and you're managing to keep adequate drainage, do it. Sandy soil helps. Even so, why line the hole? Cannabis roots will grow ten feet long, given plenty of room and moisture. I Offer advice but I won't argue with "perceived" success. If you're happy, I'm happy.
yo, jw about a post of urs u said that the lining a hole with plastic is bad.

whats the difference between a lil 2x2ft 2ft raised bed agaisnt the same dimensions only in a hole lined with plastic..... i am underthe impression that a lined hole does the same thing as the raised bed wood do but it just more stealthier cuz it will keep ur plants lower to ground

i no u said it wont drain out and too much moisture will build up givin root rot.... but were im from we dont get ridiculous amounts of rain so its just i dont think its a problem ive just seen people doing that way

i have 2 plants in lined holes and a bunch some in buckets and 2 in raised beds and they are all doing fine infact the 2 in the hole are one of the nicest ones
I checked out Hodgegrown's pics and I'd still have to say I have the largest plants by size comparison to any 'single' plant you can find in a single grow season. I'm at latitude 45 which means less than 8 months to grow and I'm not limited to the size of a pot. I have seen proven results for all of the grow techniques I've used so far. I'm not in it for the money or for the resale, I'm in it for the quality.
I read over the forum threads and take the best of everyones growing techniques. Some may argue with those techniques but have no proof to back up there claims other than their word. So my apology if I came off harsh. But I still have the largest plants I have yet seen to date so unless you agree with the method I may be using at that time then you're honestly not being of much help to me. Thanks anyway for the concern.
ok having relatives in green house business comes in handy.. got most of the stuff you mention to get ..but im doing this from 5gallon buckets and thats a hell of some work for today ...Anyway i found your threads and thnx very much boss, and here goes nothing... you can check oout my profile to see pics of them in buckets....and i will get more in a few days after transplant to show my hopeful success..
hey veggie.....was wondering where to look for the transplantin page u were talking about??iim new to the site and cant find the thread your talking about....much appreciated.
veggie dont knw if you seen my post about my mutant plant. If not i have a 6ft blackjack started frm seed, its has huge fan leaves with another small set of leaves growing out of the leaf.Could this be a good thing? It has me very curious. The plant is very healthy.
Hey bro i am new to this site i am in cali also up in the hills this is my first grow i am doing outdoors in 5 gallon buckets i was wonder if we could share info i have alot of basic questions and i always get 10 different answers thanks man hope to hear from ya soon
hey buddy i have a question i posted about 2 months ago about my plant flowering outside..it went from just small white hairs on every branch to starting to bud slightly..the buds are the size of a big bic lighter but i see alot of leaves coming from them, that means its revegging right??another question if i leave her and dont mess with any of the buds will she still be ok come harvest time??i have 14 hours of light out right now..thanks
Hey veggiegardener, I saw you posting in some guys thread about revegging but he was a douche so i thought Id just hit you up since you seem like you know what your talking about. Ive got 12 plants going that have been out in nor cal since may 2nd. Most are going good except 4 are looking like theyre flowering... Id like to get em to reveg but im not sure if that possible, or if I should just get 4 new cloneds. Ive been feeding Organicare Pure granular grow in the soil and spraying and feeding with HN Verde. I have read and heard that giving veg nutes helps and someone also said to pull off the flowers and hairs... is that a good idea?
Anyway I just thought Id talk to another cali grower directly so thanks for your help!
Hey VG i live in Central California as well. Where and how the hell can i get my license so i can grow? Is there any direct resource you have in mind that would inform me? P.S I have been following your threads. You're plants rock man!
