  • Yeah I did get my ballast, it's a 600w digital one made by Infinite digital ballast. It's really nice dim 600w-400-250w came with 5 years warranty. I went to the hydro store and they recommended that I go with this one instead of a Lumatec. They told me it more reliable and less heat.
Thought it was the best way to put it... I suppose it's nice knowing they take care of the cost and I can come around and smoke. My mamas friend lives about a mile and a half from me. It's nice to drop by to see how she's coping as well as the plants
I'm a freelance outdoor grower... Mostly friends of my parents etc- my mama 's friend is busy, in her 50's and has depression/migraines.
still got a juicy fruit with a few weeks left, gonna be doing some ak48 and sharksbreath next and adding 2 new seeds every 4 weeks and doing 12/12 from seed to see the results
thanks, it was my first plant ever, 3 plants growing in the same pot. Crappiest genetics - bedouin weed bagseed, a sativa. They didn't branch the slightest, so I just had these three poles in the pot. No trichs and very weak buzz - but it was still great fun to smoke. 1.5oz from about a gallon of pot, with 4-6 hours of sunlight in my porch.
Well I can't say for sure because I'm still on my first grow over here (lol) But I do research a lot before I even start, just to make sure I don't get it wrong.
What I will say, is that I insulated my grow box, actually built my box out of insulating, and my temps with my lights on sit at 30C or just below in my veg box. My flower box sits at roughly 25-29C. If I didn't have my exhaust fans blowing air out it would be even hotter still!

So yes it can work, quite well even. As long as you don't waste the heat you already have from the bulbs then your good.
But I do strongly believe that if the temps are too low - even if they don't die - they will stunt and not grow to their full potential.

Either way dude... good luck and keep me updated :)
Then you'll need to get insulated bruh, without a doubt. If you have no insulation your babies will freeze to death over the next two or three months.
The minimum temp before death is about 12C. Go between 12 and 18C and you'll see stunted growth. Ideally, you should aim for 25C-ish in your flowering room and 28C-ish for vegging. Over 29C and you'll be promoting mites, so stick within those levels (between 18C and 28C, and you should have a nice cosy environment for your little ladies :)
