It’s all happening so fast! Pls don’t die!

Hello everyone! I previously posted a little while back about some girls that were gifted to me. Everything was going good until. Helicopters. So I was able to put this little situation together (see pics). I just want to make sure I’m doing this right (first timer).
Info: 2 stativa and 1 indica, no idea what strains. 5 Gal buckets, Mother Earth soil. Have only had R/O water with some cal mag. I’ve got some Ionic veg food on its way cuz I’m sure they are hungry. My fear is they are going to get too big and I’m not sure if I should chop em down? I know they grow a lot when it’s flower time but will cutting them kill em? Thanks for any kind of advice!

Hey man how much cal-mag are you using with how much RO water?! They may need some more cal-mag.
Also about your height issue. You can start topping and start some LST bending and tying down your branches to get some lateral growth!

As of right know they just started last week getting 4ml per gal. Are you sure I can LST them? I think the smaller Indica I can for sure but If you look closely (I can get better pics of the stalk if that helps) I have almost no side branches or they are still an inch or so long. If i waited for them to get a little longer do you think LST would work? I have topped the main stem 1 time so far, I guess my question is with them already being so tall would I run the risk of breaking the stalk trying to bend it enough to make a difference?

IMO that should be enough cal mag!
Yeah, I would work on your main stalk and bend that as much as you can without breaking it! Let all your side branching catch up and then you can start training all your branches to keep an even canopy!

**I just saw you're in soil** idk how ratios work for soil, but I would still think 4 ml per gallon is good

Thanks brother I just assumed they were too tall to start the process. Here is the current state of the stalks.

They look healthy! Just bend slow and steady! Don't break them! You could use some tie down too!
Also your nodes look a little far away from each other, what kind of light are you using and how far away?!
Lowering the light can keep them shorter and bushier!

Dont understand how there that tall yet as a new grower, you should have crazy foliage. Is it a different style of growing

Ok I'm actually going to work on that today. I'm using a 1200 watt led, has the veg or bloom switch. Right now I have the light 28 inches away from the tallest canopy, I planned on lowering the light once I bend them. Ever since I put the girls in there with that light I've noticed they are loving it! Once I get them LSTed i'll post a progress pic in here. I appreciate the advice, truly thank you!

Well let me tell you their story, a friend of mine threw about 40 bag seeds into a 5 inch wide and 3 foot long little grow box outside, completely in the shade. That was in middle of may, by the time I was able to get a few of them they were all tangled up (obviously). I was able to pick the 4 best ones and I had some 5 gal buckets laying around and I planned on this being outdoor only. From may to late june they were outside 24/7 doing ok, not really growin a ton but doing ok. Well then about a week ago I started noticing this helicopter flying around real slow and hovering in the farmers field next to me (corn field). I know that they look for grows in corn fields all the time (I live in the sticks, my closest neighbor is atliest a mile away) so I got spooked because the same chopper came back 3 days later but this time I saw em start moving over the woods right by my house. So I panicked put em down in my basement and was able to put this little set up together. When they were a month old, most of them were almost 14-18 inches tall with only the top sets of nodes. They started out (except the indica) super tall and skinny. I'm trying to do my best though.

Lookin much better! Drop that like to like 18-20 inches above your canopy and try to stop the stretching!

4th picture bottom left leaf. What are those things on the leaf?
That one leaf with the spots is a little troubling! I'd keep a close eye on it! See if you can wipe those off, or inspect with a magnifier! Those may be some pests!

Oh shit ok. Would it be best to just remove that leaf? They were started outside so I wouldn't be surprised if some bugs were on em. I see that my light manufacture recommends 28-36 in away from the canopy, for veg, do I risk burning the leaves at 18-20?

If it were me, yeah I'd cut that leaf and really watch out for any more critters anywhere else very carefully!

IMO, your plants look like they're very tall usually because they're searching for light!
I'd drop it down to like 20-24 and see how they handle that!
How many watts is your light?! A lot of time 1000w led only pulls like 100-150w from the wall! So I'm sure it can handle it!

Yeah i'll remove that fan leaf. Right now the lights are right about 28 inches above the canopy. I'm going to move them to about 20 and see how it goes. I have already noticed that the tops have turned and faced the light. This has been an amazing journey for me so far and I'm not even close to the flower part!!! I appreciate the advice. Once i get them the food they need plus the LST and moving the light down should I expect an explosion of growth? Yes my light is a 1200w led. I can post pics if needed.

I think 20 in is good! Yeah, LST is an ongoing thing almost everyday you gotta tie down new branches and growth! Keep it up man! You look to be doing all right! Good food and lights always help!
Yeah, send me a pic of your LED, there's no way that's pulling 1000w!!! It may have been advertised as 1000w comparing it to an HPS light!

i dnt think a chopper will be able to find just a couple juvenile plants i may be wrong and if i am then im totally fucked

Yeah I'm pretty confident its not pulling anywhere near 1200w. When I check on em in the morning I'll take a pic of it. I just moved it to about 20 in and positioned them so the main stem is getting the most direct light so those little baby branches can grow up. I almost feel like its more powerful than I needed for a 32x32x63 tent.
