New general hydroponics feed chart

I'm sorry but I don't do pics. The last pictures got me 32 days jail and a year of probation. Jail was solitary confinement because it didn't go as smooth as they hoped.

That broke me from posting pics.
Shit man I'm sorry to hear that. I left nazi-police-state-missouri for Michigan 11 years ago. I've been back once. I have no intention of returning until a funeral occurs. I once had 2 narc cops bust into my dad's house without a warrant and pulled roaches out of my fucking ash tray just so they could charge me with "something." Spent a week in county lockup in one of the most shit bag horrible counties known to man. The thick warm fart aroma coming out of the 10x5 cell me and 6 other guys were in is something I'll never forget. I'd put a gun in my mouth before I'd ever serve a long sentence. I decided this many many years ago. The only solution to that problem is moving to a friendlier state. Just do it and never look back. Fortunately I live in a legal state now. I abide by the law, and don't worry like that anymore.

I'd love to try the flora nova. I've heard nothing but great things about it. Pricey product though. I did the math for my garden and the volume of water I go through in a week and I quickly discovered it wasn't a viable solution for my garden due to cost alone. I might get a couple quarts and test it on my soil ladies. They like the good stuff and I'm willing to spend a little more for their needs, particularly because my soil plants are on a feed, water, water, feed regimen. They only get fertilizer applied once every 3 water cycles, so very little fertilizer is needed to complete a cycle in soil. Hydro is another story. I go through a 32 gallon reservoir every 2 days. It's not an astonishing amount by any means, but when you factor in 1tsp/gallon the math quickly starts working against me for cost viability :)
I agree, but it's so nice not having to mix a bunch of nutes. I don't mind it sometimes, but when I'm in a hurry, it can be a hassle. It's basically just Lucas, so I guess it's really only eliminating 1 nute bottle. Lol. How's your soil grow going?

get some humic or fulvic acid and add it to your maxibloom= floranova bloom for a fraction of the cost.

We're pretty much the same level. I use Cobs and grow less plants. No prissy grow room. It doesn't look like I grow in a Target bathroom.

It's all good because it didn't stop me either. They were dreaming.

I'm glad you asked! Just snapped some fresh pics:

2 Jack herer's popping up. Of course I will be transplanting each seedling into separate containers. I was certain 1 wouldn't pop. And I was absolutely wrong :) I even see a little mycorrhizae fungi near the second seedling popping up. Potter's gold is apparently some good stuff.

20210303_192319.jpg

3 God bud, a couple jack herer's, a bruce banger, and a big buddha cheese. Cheese just broke through today. Hopefully they all grow out to be viable plants. All are feminized except the god bud.

Of course my cabbage, corn, tomatoes, and wild flowers. These are actually my grand daughter's for her back yard spring garden. She planted the seeds and mixed the dirt herself. I just help with lights and habitat :)

My first soil plant in 10 years. Godfather OG. She's super stinky like that old school funk-a-delic. Smells like a skunk. I've never grown a strain like this. I'm pretty excited. I did gg#4 exclusively for nearly a year. I got so sick of gg#4 to this day if I smell it I no longer want to smoke and am completely turned off to the idea. Nowadays I run 6 different strains. Patients don't like getting the same thing all the time. And neither do I :)

Are cabbage leaves supposed to look like this? Might have to do some diagnosing. Looks splotchy.

Edit: Fucking love that line :) Vanity is superficial. If the garden is producing the garden is producing. End of story. The state of Illinois rolled out their marijuana program in the most crooked way possible. Back when they passed their "Pilot medical marijuana program" that had an expiration date when it was implemented (WTF, right?). Then the pay to play players that wanted to grow and sell dope in Illinois had to prove they had something like $500,000 in liquid assets in addition to probing every orifice of your life including investigations of your friends, family, and associates. The legislators required so much of growing facilities these people essentially had to put $1-3 million dollars into their grow facility and storefront's to comply. And to this day, even after legalization, those state of the art facilities grow some of the most low grade pot in the entire country. I have a friend in Missouri that is growing under their new medical marijuana law. He has far more financial resources than I do. His results are embarrassing even though he's invested over $25k into 3 separate 18 plant grow rooms. He's got a mini split air handler in each room, a natural gas co2 generator, and some of the best led lights available. And he still grows shitty pot. His garden is constantly ravaged by mites. Stacks of cash doesn't grow good pot. Hard work, diligence, and genuinely caring about what you are growing is what produces a good product. I'm not just an employee. I'm also a client. Rich greedy fucker's will never understand these things :)

I'm jealous of you. I wish I could go back to a life where I only grew for me. I don't own my life anymore. My garden does. It's not a liberating feeling, but I'm nowhere near retirement and I'm past the point in my life where I'm willing to work with other people ;) My bi-polar is pretty horrible. I can hardly tolerate my own company some days. I kid you not.

Would you suggest it for soil and hydro? I have some "RAW" brand humic in a dresser drawer I bought a few years back when I was attempting to go all organic. I'd love to get some mileage outta that expensive stuff :)

Is there an all in 1 humic / fulvic you'd recommend? Or a particular brand of fulvic? I'm in uncharted waters here :)

in your soil for sure. ive used humic/fulvic/kelp/etc in hydro for awhile. just have to keep an eye on the hydro stuff to make sure it's not a bubbling cauldron of shit.

that's the main diff with flora nova: the humic.

your maxi has more P and K too . 5-15-14 vs 4-8-7.

powder by far is the way to go if you are mixing up many gallons.

I'll shop for a fulvic to combine with the RAW humic powder I have on hand. I'll post pics a couple days after watering to show off the results. I can not wait to smoke my first soil flower man. I don't get excited about much these days. I am very excited about this. And my wife is going to bitch again when she sees yet another amazon order. Forgiveness is so much easier to ask than permission though :)

Gospel sir. Preach it.The wives mean well. Sometimes they conveniently forget certain facts. When it works to their advantage. Or provides a viable means of bitching about something :)

Dude I'm about to finish up season 3 of diabolical tonight. Gotta get good and lubed up with some hash oil before that shit goes down. If you are ever bored and need something new to watch pull up diabolical, your worst nightmare, or fear thy neighbor on investigation discovery. I can't even fucking watch the fear thy room mate. Did 1 episode and I was so fucking creeped out I don't think I will ever in my natural life have an overnight house guest that is not immediate family. Even then you gotta sleep with 1 eye open depending on what kinda nuts are growing on your family tree :)

We binged through the entire 6 or 7 seasons of fear thy neighbor on the last harvest. I now have cameras allover my property with motion alarms and security lights. My yard looks like an airport landing strip. And I still fear my neighbors :)

Thats what floralicious plus is. I use it and trust me it makes a difference. Theres a reason i call it the dark stank though, it smells and the girls love it. It can be pricey but you only need 1ml per gallon. 1 $80 bottle is enough for 16 x 50 gallon res changes and it leaves some left over for foliar spraying for clones and early veg. IME it also greatly increases terpene production.

I will agree that several things are useless but i love the flora series. I use the MGB 3part flora series, rapidstart, floralicious plus, liquid koolbloom (some people say it is basically double strength bloom and this is not true. Koolbloom has more potassium and sulphur. ) and late flower/ripening i use dry koolbloom. (Yes its very different than the liquid, this is MEANT to shock the plant and it hardens up the buds and pushes the plant squeeze out all the resins it can. Follow the recommended amounts )
Instead of using their calmag i just add 1 gram of epsom salt per gallon for the magnesium (extra sulphur is good in bloom too) there should be enough calcium in the base nutrients as long as they are at the correct pH to be properly absorbed. But as for their other supplements, like diamond nectar, floarlicious plus quite literally has a more concentrated amount of diamond nectar in it. As for the flavor enhancers/sugar additives.... i want my strains to taste and smell the way they should. If i want my weed to taste like blueberries, I'll grow blueberry weed.

Whew sorry, i guess that was a little more than you asked for but i hope its useful to someone at least

Talk to your doctor about Lamictal. It's an anti seizure medication they found out works great for slowing down the bi polar mind. I started about 3 weeks ago. I don't have horrid angry outbursts anymore and sex drive went up about 10x. Nice little side effect. I beat the wife up every chance I get now :) No addiction potential and no negative long term side effects. It's really like a whole new world for me man. My mind seems to move at the same pace as everyone else now. When I walk into a crowded room I don't bring a 100 pounds of tension in with me making everyone around me uncomfortable. It's really a liberating feeling for people to check out you out and then just as quickly look away because you're not triggering their fight or flight response. Prior to 3 weeks ago that just wasn't possible. I'm just fine by myself or with people I know, but around others it was no good. Other people could just tell something wasn't right with me and to keep their distance. It's very difficult for me to lose control now and I no longer carry that horrid tension on my shoulders. I'm passive and easy going now. Like a stoner should be, right? In a nutshell I can control my mind and reactions now. Very cool :)

This reads like my life story lol. I dont think im quite as bad (no offense) i absolutely hate that i cannot control what sets me off or when it will. Smoking helps. A LOT. It sucks having different emotional responses than you want to. Im not sure if is bi-polar or something else, but either way i know 2 things. 1. Im SOME kind of messed up, what kind that is....??? And 2. Weed helps. Maybe im just getting old and cranky and looking for an excuse for my anger. Still.... weed helps.

You sound like you've got some of the flagship bipolar symptoms. The new medicine I'm taking has been a real life saver. If it keeps bothering you see a doctor man. It's painless. A lot of people have bipolar. The only unfortunate ones are those that never get help. It took me more than half a lifetime to take that step. Ain't never too late to save your life.

Thanks for that, man. .i only need to overcome the issue i have with motivation......and not having any. I just cant seem to make myself do stuff but as soon as i get past that I'll find a doctor to dump my baggage on So i grow weed and it helps some, i really enjoy it. I play video games too since its a way to try to channel my anger. If i can manage to aim my outbursts they might as well be at entitled millenial brats (not saying every millenial is self centered and entitled, just the ones ive met in online games have been) but thanks a lot bro, i appreciate it. I popped in here to see if i could help anyone and instead it was me that got some help...... i love it when shit like that happens.

EDIT: Also, i was wondering about the new gen hydro feed chart myself. Im setting up a new 4x8 with 1300w combined HID and LED hydro scrog as we speak and i want to go easy on them this time. Last time there was construction and i couldnt change the res or add topups for 5 weeks mid flower so needless to say..... they got really toxic. Like almost 1500ppm of ‍♂. This time i got my RO system in place at 0ppm (with added UV steralizer) and my veg will be around 500ppm for 3 or 4 weeks and then flip to 12/12 and ramp up to 800-900ppm for flower. Does that sound about right to you? Also, have you used the new feed chart or should i stick with the old? Im using flora series micro/grow/bloom, RapidStart, koolbloom, floralicious plus. Im using 1 gram epsom salt per gallon and no calmag ( there should be enough calcium in the base nutes and the magnesium sulphate adds the extra magnesium) My intention is to mix according to the ratios in the chart and add to my res until it hits the right ppm but then i saw this new feed chart and now im not sure. So.........thoughts? Questions? Suggestions?
This is the new chart in question.

Their new feed chart basically looks like a reduction in ppm to an amount that won't fry your plants. Prior to the change their feed chart was all sorts of fucked up due to the high ec the recipes produced. There is almost no indoor plant that will ever need higher than 850ppm. Their old recipes called for 1200+ ppm in flower. If I ran 1200ppm in flower my plants would be fried in 3 or 4 days. That's just an insanely high ec.

I have no issues with their feed chart now that they've properly modified it. When they recommend a range of ppm like 700-850 for example stay towards the lower end. 700-750 would be perfect. 850 would be the high end and would be more appropriate for someone with monster sized plants that more resemble trees. Most indoor growers are not working with plants of that size. There are a few though. And I'm not one of them :)

The GH flora series is a great product. More costly than jack's 321, but a solid option. I have it on hand myself and am feeding it to some soil plants. Works great. Just not something I would want to use on a larger scale. Very costly.
