This game may be over soon...... we'll see I guess. I got enough dough to survive for a couple of years before I have to go back to the Corporate, but hoping that's not the case. Last year we moved 27 lbs in about 7 business days... I've been sitting on 15 lbs since Feb.
Man I'll be pulling for you! Anything you can to do gimmick it up and make it stand out to shops like converting some into moon rocks?

..... and guessing Im gonna have about another 25 or so lbs ready in about 3 weeks.
I've got some close friends in CA producing quantity snd quality similar to you. They tell me they sell everything through brokers, and it works well for them. I don't know what's up with the commercial back end in OK. Are there brokers you can move through here?

Gotta get a whole seperate license to do that. Hell, we can't even do pre-rolls without a processors license. Not worth it. Alot of peeps have gone vertically integrated... they have a Grow and a Dispo.

Even the brokers are having a hard time moving anything..... if I can't move it at $850, ... a broker isn't going to do me any good.

Here's something you gotta remember about OK.... we have UNLIMITED growers.. AND!, we hold more growers lic. than Cali, WA, and OR combined.

Well...I figured I'd show my raised bed. I thinned out the side branches and brought the skirts up a little. Bugs were starting to munch on some leaves, so I neemed them last weekend. I'll treat with neem, bt, and/or spinosad weekly until they start showing buds.

How's everyone's outdoor looking so far?

The big one in my raised bed has a thick ~2" diameter stalk on it. I topped it at the fourth node a month or so ago. If I hadnt done that and started tying it down, it would be way over the fence by now. I'm going to have to be good about training and pruning these to keep them under control in the tight space they have.

Went to a friend's op today on the West side of OKC area. It's about the same size harvest as yours, but not managed nearly as well. The bud looked dank, but facility not as clean and well organized. Guy said he's moving everything he produces to some OKC dispos at $1500-$1800/lb.

"Brokers" are probably black market buyers sending unlicensed product out of state.

In the beginning, we would have people beating our door down for $3000 lbs.... I can't hardly give the shit away now.... and we have a big customer base. I kinda knew this day was coming,... and quick. Too many growers.
Man I’m surprised to hear you’re have such a hard time getting it sold.. I was in the same boat less than 2 months ago. Then I made one breakthrough with a store, and then another deal popped up and it seems like the second store wants to buy everything I can grow at an ok price point. Things went from not good at all, to really decent in just a couple weeks.

If this is something you really wanna keep doing, I’d say just work on finding some really good cultivars and in the meantime maybe they’ll get serious about capping the licenses or somehow thinning them out considerably so the OK Natives can take ownership of the industry here. But if you’re (any MMJ business owner) not into it 100% for the plant and the purpose, then yeah I’d say it’s not worth the risk with the volatility of our market the way it is.

I’m doing this for the plant and because I find a lot of purpose in why I’m doing this, so I’m willing to accept a rough financial outlook for myself to have this opportunity. I have my limits, and my previous posts reflect that; I was a few days away from throwing in the towel. Then one good thing happened after another and it seems I can keep moving forward here. I’m also aware that nothing is guaranteed and this whole thing could change tomorrow. I’m enjoying what I’m doing for now, even though I’ve got quite the financial hole to fill.

I really wish they would’ve somehow made it more difficult for all the outside BS to get into our market.

I'd pay this guy to give me some leads. FUCK!... first run of Candy Store yields 104g per plant...granted, they are seeds, but I think I have found a couple of good mothers..... Citradelic, and Credsendo are still to be determined... Grinding them out over the next couple of days.

Something I wish we could get set up is some sort of swap meet. Ya know just a few of us growers, meet up, bullshit about what we're up to, maybe some strain swap, seed swap things like that. Something reminiscent of the old days. Maybe I'm just dreaming, hard to trust that someone isn't going to do something stupid.
