Harvest today or in 4 days?

If it gets to the point where burnt leaves are starting to recess in the bud it's probably time to chop it and call it. Your leaves have lots of really burnt tips and curling up indicating overfeeding. The curled tacoed serrated edges indicate a heat issue as well.

It's not like it's going to be a terrible result but just things to keep in mind for next time.
Delicate strain...
I worked with clean soil this time, gave less than recommended nutes, much less than my previous grows that I had no issues...
With the GSC I had zero burned leaves up to the harvest.
Strange.

Is the last photos with the bract becoming white is an issue or is it normal?

Thanks

A lot of your amber trichomes look like they are from physical damage. They don't look like amber from age. Are you handling/touching the buds a lot? You can tell like in picture 2. One side is showing an amber like color while the other trichomes on the other side are clear.

If you are touching them a lot that's fine. I know when I first started I did. Just try not to do it in the future.

Yeah, be careful here, sometimes that could be beginning of bad news, not saying mold could develop, but I’d consider taking the plant now. Sometimes a precursor to mold begins with this color change, but not always. Bleaching is definitely a possibility

Yes, maybe from the microscope photos.

I actually just experienced mold in 1 big bud. So I chopped, and I opened up each bud to be sure there was no mold elsewhere. So don’t be afraid to man handle the bud and open it up into check.

Well, I am chopping on Tuesday, I hope this is nothing to worry about.

OK!!!!

I got you!
Now I got what you where trying to say all the time...
Its happened over night, do you see it?
I stopped feeding and gave one time flush solution, voila?

The question now is, how much can I wait more lol?

Harvest Tuesday or Saturday?
I am a bit worry about the white bract

Finally I do understand why did you mean by ripeness!

I grew more than 20 plants in 4 grows and never waited till this ripeness...
Or maybe I don't remember well, Its was very frosty, very different looking buds.

130 days today

Yes there are not ready in terms of max potential
Some buds are with amber, the middle height still not

But I don't think its good for this plants to keep on waiting,
What do you say guys?

Can I chop them this Friday? its been 25 days since I started this post.
I see progress but leaves are not looking good, very dry environment is not helping and I am afraid to add moist cause mold etc..

I cut down 3 ready buds, not a lot of amber but look good enough.

Any last advice?
Thanks

Well, it was nice harvest.
They are dry now, after 8 days of drying.

Each plant gave full trim box

left plant 205 gram
right plant 190 gram
about 70 gram of popcorn buds and leaves
and some kief.

The amount is great.
The buds quality not so..its giving high but the buds are very dry and crispy, its like they are not full or something.
Its like you can almost don't need a grinder. You can squash the bud with your fingers.
I dried this time even better than previous time, so I don't think its the dry process, something just didn't work for me this grow.

Well, it is what it is now, just wanted to update.
Next time I will got with photos.. autos are unpredictable.

Up to this moment I don't if I waited too much or chopped before time.
Or maybe after 4 good grows you get one bad cause genetics?
I don't know.

Thanks for all the help

If it's so dry that it crumbles in your hand then it's over dried. Put them in a jar with a hygrometer. I'd guess they are around 40% RH.

Definitely weren't 100% ready and the previous photos they looked extremely overfed. Every grow is a learning experience. Good luck on the next!

sometimes it happens going from seed.

but please Remember these words.

it’s very easy to harvest early and very difficult to harvest too late.

Thanks, yes, heard that many times..
Never had any issues with photos

On the other side - 19 weeks instead of 10 for an auto?
How long more can you wait with plant that not look perfect...

Waiting more was not going to make it better in this case, plant was suffering.
Thanks

Yes, in jar and I added a humidity pack.

Maybe the environment was too dry in the grow also...

I didn't over fed, I gave less than usual.. with clean soil this time compare to ready soil compare to previous grows so I really have no idea what happened this time...
Too much light? too dry? sensitive phenotype?

I am not an expert but I had 4 good amazing grows before, but in smaller tent with less light.
Even the first grow was better...

No more autos for me.

Thanks for all your help and not giving up on me even when the post was very long <3
