Azure Haze has picked up the pace, now just waiting on the random white hairs to turn orange, they are soradic throughout the plant, its very odd...streaks of blue running through the top of the plant are beautiful in person, they are covered by frost too....plant smells just like sweet blueberry.....and looks nicer everyday.

Bubblegum has been at a standstill, the furthest bud to the right and furthest bud to the left, although looking beautiful and frosty, both have a patch of white hairs on the top of the bud.....ive been waiting for them to turn and then its chop chop. Im not gonna wait on the .1 sized popcorn nugs at the bottom of the plant, as I believe they may take much longer.

I have done this grow day by day, havent taken notes, but now I feel like I really know these two plants. I may have dialed them in way late, but because I eventually did - the buds look and smell amazing. I have an estimated flower time of 59 days right now. Bubblegum i believe is usually a 63 day strain. Azure Haze is up to 70 days but usually 63-65 days when leaning blueberry like this one. Im going off the first pictures saved in my phone where flowers are forming. Id say Azure Haze may go 68+ days, but its been rapidly finishing, so may surprise me at 63 days with the Bubblegum (if those 2 nugs are ready by then)

Sorry for hijacking the thread lol. But I figure if im following ill share whats going on with my ladies.

Oh and the LIT Farms Watermelon Kush was planted a few hours ago as it successfully germinated. Hopefully it sprouts.

Really cant wait for these 2 to finish and get them dried - I'm drying inside the tent. And once theyre in jars curing 4 plants will be replacing them....so my first run was 3 plants (orange sour dub x fruity pebbles was a male - I collected pollen) and my 2nd run im jumping to 2 tents and 10 plants total....im so excited for the challenges ahead!

And that orange sour dub x fruity pebbles pollen may be hitting a lower branch on my 88 G13 Hashplant....for some reason today ive been thinking that combination could be killer....i want to use it on a non-flavor strain that's potent and i think that fits the bill perfectly.

Not hijacking the thread at all, the more action in here the better is the way I see it
Sometimes white hairs just keep coming so it's kind of hard to go by them, that's why people go by trichome colour..do you have a jewelers loop or a scope of some sort? If not you should get one, breeder times aren't always accurate so it's better to check the trichs with a scope so you know they are at least 80% amber.

Did you clone to plants you grew so you can grow them again if you really like them?
What are you growing in? Looks like you have a calcium deficiency

Yeah ive had issues ive added calmag and they came back and then started looking ill again, the way I see it - especially on my 1st grow, if they could retain their current smell and carry those terps - its a huge win....honestly im just happy to say I grew from seed successfully (hopefully) lol.

No I didnt clone, I have tons of seeds and am mainly growing to smoke, I have mostly 10 seeds or more of everything if I wanna go back and hunt a little. But I dont really plan on keeping mothers and stuff around, maybe if I had a bigger space to grow....someday....but for now as close as I get is storing male pollen lol....i buy lots of regular seeds for that purpose. But things like the Bubblegum are feminized. I may store a few seeds of certain strains long term as well, just incase something goes extinct, but I dont see that happening in this day and age....although original genetics of some strains are definitely being lost.....when something lost though, you'll find something new.

You did a good job, your pretty much at the finish line it looks like to me. Nothing like puffing on chronic you grew yourself..congrats
It's good you learned about cal def. It's what we all do keep growing and learning.

I mention the clones because sometimes you find a plant that's absolutely amazing and the rest of the seeds from said pack most likely won't be as good.i find most seed packs vary a fair bit most of the time, sometimes the whole pack is shit except 1 plant is exceptional. So just in case you find one plant you love you have it. You can always reveg also but it's tricky and if it don't work than plants gone.

Absolutely understand. Unfortunately its just not possible right now for me to clone/keep clones/mothers alive. Ive been lucky because my 2 ladies seem like winners and my male was a beast:

Thing are moving along...slowly but moving along none the less. I'm kind of glad they are going slow cause I want to ripen my current round for a week or two more. Unfortunately I noticed when I went in before lights on to take pics and noticed the Rh was 70-80%:wall:.so I started looking in some of the denser buds and noticed a few spots had mould just starting(small orange dots) inside a couple buds only about 1/8 inch if that, lucky I caught it before it spread. So had to chop my wedding cake with had at least 2 weeks left unfortunately, also had to chop both cherry garseeya's but they were pretty much done luckily.

Thats unfortunate man, but at least you caught it right away.

I finally chopped my Bubblegum S1 and Azure Haze about 10min ago lol. I did take the advice of aquiring a handheld microscope, and all the trichs were either cloudy or amber on both plants....a lot of ppl would have told me to wait longer, but i waited until about 67-68 days flower which is considered long for the bubblegum and slightly soon for azure haze....i feel like the bubblegum is going to be phenomenal and the azure haze will be alright, either ill like it or hate it (just like blue dream phenos/cuts lol) now I cant wait till they dry, which is gonna be interesting to see how long it takes given my plants are ridiculously small lol

And thanks....i actually ran out of my current head stash tonight and decided I'd take all the pieces that I'd consider shake and pack a bowl of the Azure Haze....im not gonna judge taste too much because I typically get 3 different flavor profiles in a bowl that are smooth/good/piney to Hash/resin taste too asscheeks lmao....but I can say this fell in the first category, no real flavor but it was extremely smooth.

Now again, I rarely ever use my bowl because I tend to get shittier highs out of a bowl or bong than a joint - that's just my personal opinion and I think it is less enjoyable and definitely less flavorful.....but this Azure Haze has amazed me....i didnt expect to feel anything using the peices of weed that I did....but this shit has me on cloud 9.......its a very balanced high, which I didnt expect....im not sure the ratio on this for indica and sativa but I would swear its 55/45 indica....i feel it in my head quite a bit - but its not racey feeling and it doesnt send thoughts through my head nonstop either....but at the same time I'm feeling very social.....slightly more so i feel the body high, im sitting on my couch weighed down and relaxed - however perfectly alert from the sativa effects....its a very good high and has lasted about 30min now from about half a bowl packing.....i cant wait until this stuff is cured so I can see the flavors....and If this high intensifies from cure - then this shit is gonna be awesome

It has me wanting to try the bubblegum tomorrow

Couple of them are still pretty small, also a couple seem like they have a mag deficiency but some of the plants I veg get that and they grow out of it so I'm not to worried also just top dressed with my soil cut 50/50 with pro mix a few days ago so hopefully that will keep them going till I repot

Well the day is finally here, took forever to u pot and put in my blumats on these bad girls(hopefully), also found 1 male Blueberry so I'm down to 6 blueberry:o hopefully the rest are female.20210810_052927.jpg
Going to flip them right away then take some clones in a couple days

Got a shot with the lights on. Most are looking pretty good with a couple exceptions, one gamma berry has some mag def but I'm sure it will grow out if it in the new pot as it has happened with other plants in early veg and they just power through it.
Also one has some burns on a couple leaves that I thought was phos def but I'm pretty sure it's from touching the t5 for awhile before I repotted it.
Some of the twinkle tarts look a little messed up but I think it's mostly from just being under 1 measly t5.
Except this one looks pretty whack

Fun running these pheno hunts but it sure is a pain in the ass to set up.
At least the hard part is done, just have to clone them then sit back and watch the magic happen

Well got some good news and bad news, bad news got 3 male Blueberry so that leaves me with only 4 females from my 12 pack, pretty disheartening.....Hopefully I find something nice in these 4.
Good news is got three males drop my gamma berries but all three were the smallest and just looked like they were having a tougher time getting growing compared to the rest of the plants. Also at least one male from the onld time Indiana bubblegum, hopefully the other ones female so I could at least have 1 to flower.
Well at least that gives the ones in there a little more room cause she was pretty tight in there before the culling

Not a big difference but at least there's a little more space between the pots now

They are all looking a little rough, I'm attributing it to being crammed under a single t5 in solo cups on 24 light then potting them in 2 gallons of living soil and putting them under 2 600 at 12/12 just under a week ago.
Looks like some are starting to adjust, hopefully in a few more days they will start kicking it up a notch. Going camping for a couple days so hopefully when I get back they will be back on track.
Also will clone them all when I get back just in case I find something special
