After 20 years of smoking, I'm finally gonna grow some

was gone on vacation for 10 days and wasnt really sure what i'd come home to. was pleasantly surprised, now i'm just wondering how long til chop chop, i'm thinking three weeks or so but could be less.

if this really is your first grow, you did really well! Super frosty man I’m against purple lights but I have to admit that black dog throws out a real nice shade makes the buds look nice.

I’m a newbie too and looked at a deficiency chart, those burnt up leaves are what I assume to be a potassium deficiency, as they flowered and did not have many nutes fed they had to eat it from the fans. Pretty cool how the buds are still nice and green.

happy harvest man, if your not sure when to chop just post some pics in harvesting & curing they will guide you the right direction.

hey thanks a lot for the info, i will 100% be posting in the harvesting and curing section as i need some guidance to end this thing the right way. this forum and other forums in general have been a huge help so i really appreciate all you guys posting your setups, what worked or didnt, advice, etc.

a lot of people poopoo on the blurples but i believe it's bc so many of them are cheap and shitty that maybe people just arent used to blurples being able to grow good weed? it just depends on what you get so definitely do the research into whatever company you're looking into. there are several different metrics you can use to measure light efficiency and output so make sure you are actually being told what is what would be my advice.

i'm really thankful the buds on those uglier ones are still nice and green, very stinky and lots of crystals. it's interesting that the plant basically ate itself to preserve the colas...so awesome but will try to make sure she doesnt have to do that in future grows. the two different strains have become very clear at this stage, and i'll be able to better dial in the nutrients for each next time around. all in all super happy with everything and have found something i really love doing.

Your looking more like 4-5 weeks bro. You got some good weed there. Be patient.
Rule of thumb. Once the pistils go all brown. Wait 2 more weeks.
And the one looking a little fried is an over feed by the looks of it. Or a lockout from ph Be careful. But great fucking job !!!!!

the overfeed/underfed debate is raging in my mind still. i've never once given them a full dose of nutes, but maybe the soil i transplanted into was just super rich (ffof/black gold/perilite). i'm getting a ppm meter today to get a better idea of exactly what's going on there so hopefully that can help solve it. but my personal diagnosis is it was a nutrient deficiency, with plants showing many different signs all at once. since i upped the nutes they have been doing better so it makes sense on that front as well.

it could very well be pH lockout as well though bc the pen i had before was giving all sorts of erratic readings (jumping a whole 1.0 in either direction in the same bucket of water) so i bought a better one and that is no longer an issue. so many factors to consider so sometimes it's hard to nail down exactly what the cause was, but i just have to proceed using the best info i have available at the time.

do you think she would do better or worse than mine? she would certainly look better doing it i know that much

put the flash on so we could see the actual colors better. i'm thinking three weeks (up to five maybe?) to harvest but definitely need to look more into how to tell when to chop for sure. i was shooting for 4oz per plant or at least 1.5g per watt (hoping more like 2g per but happy anywhere in there), which is high hopes but i definitely think it can be done with this setup.

glad to be back from vacation and back in the garden. i've heard a farmer's shadow is the best fertilizer and i really believe that's true. it was tough being away for 12 days but awesome to come back and see them kicking ass!!

i got 12 rooted clones, all mixed up so i haven't been sure what is what the whole time, but it's either Alien or OG. yeah these colors are awesome and so are the crystals. it's just wild to see up close how frosty these are.

I found it.. Alien OG.. They look like Alien OG

man i will clear this up once and for all when i get put in touch with the originator of these clones...i had been told it was two different strains but the person who delivered them wasn't completely clear, so all this time i've been a little unsure (as with most everything). but it's either Alien and OG (two different strains) or just Alien OG (all the same). i remain confused. *headscratching*

LMFAO... I'm digging the colors..just not sure who to get them from .. The Cali Connection or Mr Seedsman . .. ? Thinking they originated from The Cali Connection... correct? To add to the confusion.. there's an Alien Kush too.... LOL!! Looked it up real quick again. Seedsman gets it from Cali Connection...both same seed. Might as well get it directly from Cali Connection..

i wont know for sure until i'm done with this run and get put into contact with the clone originator. i bet all of those will be super nice though, they all sound great lol!!

couple of pics from tonight, day 47 of flower - i'm gonna go in and defoliate a bunch of the fan leaves tomorrow morning first thing and go from there. other than that just trying to keep them fat and happy
