Jordan of the islands

Do any of you breed? Jordan has been since the 90's. That 30 years of being a seed company. Have any of you heard of tissue culture? Do any of you know how to keep a Clone of your mother for 30 years? Do any of you know that a single plant taken and grown to maturity will produce 1000's of seeds?
Are you associated with JOTI? Do you have any knowledge of their methods? If not, getting defensive on someone else's behalf seems a little bit silly, especially if your response is purely conjecture.

Nobody made any accusations, we were DISCUSSING the breeder and their products.

People ask questions and discuss things on DISCUSSION boards. It is their sole purpose.

TLDR: relax and smoke one man, we're just talking

For sure, I'm not trying to trash talk. I have grown out a couple JOTI before and have some new ones going with no complaints. I was just more curious about the level of stabalization in all these new crosses since doing a full pheno hunt, and then pheno hunting through generations to stabalize strains I would assume take many many plants of each. Just wondering if all the new crosses JOTI puts out are stabalized out to IBL or if they're more F1/F2 hybrids

I had read recently that JOTI likes to release f2 or f3 seeds, he answered a question on Instagram recently if his seeds were f1's and had stated he likes to release f2 or f3 seeds but did not specify any further. It was a rare response to questions of his genetics. I see people ask him often without response.

Looking forward to ordering a few strains that have been out of stock for a while, to run after I finish up a couple of their crush crosses :D

Have they stopped offering a free pack of seeds with every order? I can't seem to find any mention of it on the site anymore :?:
He just mentioned a free pack of seeds with every order is still happening and that the website is under new management and they hope to ship orders out within 48 hours.

Hey folks. I am so busy the next few days I wouldn't have time to harvest anyways, BUT
when I checked trichomes yesterday (Day 56 Flower), I was surprised that it seems these ladies might have a ways to go yet? This will only be my 7th harvest, so I am still learning, I would love some feedback.

All the Crush strains claim around 55-60 days. I know some plants keep throwing new pistils, but the Afghan and Wedding Cake both seem like they have a ways to go based on trichs and pistils. That said, the foliage is obviously fading for a few weeks now.

I ordered over the Sept long weekend and it was shipped on Tuesday the 7th (Monday was the holiday) I got the standard shipping (No tracking) and it arrived today, the 15th :D

Even though it was answered above, they did indeed include a free pack of seeds, as well as a JOTI sticker

Hey brotha did these make it to finish line yet? Cheers
I'm stoked! Enjoying the results so far but I've only sampled a few, and prefer another week or so cure. I've only been growing about a year and a half and generally haven't worried much about my final harvest yields. I've always had plenty enough for myself and lady and then some.

Decided to weigh this batch up and I did quite well I think. There is almost no larf (I will share photos when I find the time so you can judge for yourself). I don't do a final trim/manicure, but rather just 'trim on demand'.

ALL of the plants are dank, nuggy, and have good appeal.
These were grown in 2 gallon fabric pots, with ~75% of suggested dose of Advanced Nutes basic 3 part. ProMixHP... C02. Details in this thread with photos.

(these weights are jarred up, no final trim, 61% humidity - photos later)

6 x Gelato = Avg 129g per plant; Low 114 High 140
2 x Afghan = 71, 86
3 x Wedding Cake = 141, 83, 146

If only I had kept the other 14 hermie bombs :bigjoint:

smoke reports after ive spent a good time with all. so far I am really enjoying. only a few seeds so far nothing epic.

No your not alone here, 4 of 6 plants hermied on me in very a stable environment, Wedding Crush and Candyland Crush. Interested to hear of others experiences with these seeds.
Rough. I have been a supporter of JOTI for over 10 years but I am not thrilled that he has ditched breeding his own true strains in favour of doing pollen chucks with various hype breeders from the states.
Not that I'm against American breeders at all but he used to have quite a few pure heirloom Canadian varieties that were unique and important.
I understand where he is coming from financially and trying to stay relevant and what not but it seems like he is just doing massive pollen chucks with other people's work now and not testing his work.
I have seen a few reports of herms on Insta with these crush strains as well.
I have a pack of the pink crush and the black garlic crush i was about to pop but I might go with something else until a few more reports come out.
The blueberry stud he used must have passed on a recessive intersex trait which isn't uncommon with some of the blueberry cuts in BC but alot of times when you just stack genes on top of genes on top of poly hybrid genes without testing this happens.
Have you reached out to him?
Curious what his response would be.
