What is considered a good yield these days Indoor?

OP, a bunch of us are going out our way to pile on and be dicks, but you brought this on yourself with your thread title and your first post.

Quoting your first post and adding emphasis:
“Hey guys, I have used this forum for research purposes in the past but this is my very first post. I have been out of the commercial game for a little bit before starting this new job at a Cannabis tech start up running Aeroponics. We are running eight 315 CMH in a 96 sq ft rooms…”

Not a horrific start but referring to it as “the commercial game” is pretentious and is off putting to a lot of people over 40. Plus, no one really gives a shit if your grow is commercial, hobby, industrial, etc. Whatever, that still wasn’t terrible. Where you got into trouble was the next part:

I am curious to know what you guys think would be a very good yield of dried A-grade from that type of set up. 2520 watts total. I appreciate the feed back, Thank you.

This would have gone over way better if you’d given specifics on what this facility is actually achieving right now instead of asking for a yield estimate. Something more like:

2520 watts total and we are pulling about X pounds after a __ week veg and __ week flower cycle. Wondering how this compares to what others are pulling with similar setups?

Throwing in your IG handle and telling people to check that out was also downright stupid. Post pics on here, way easier to keep the convo going if people don’t have to jump to a different app and then find out your IG is private and they need to subscribe. Almost everyone on here will say “fuck that”.

you’ve posted quite a few messages in 2 days on here, so maybe you legitimately do work at a nice facility and want to start interacting on RIU, but the verdict is still out until you’ve been here awhile. Arguing with a couple of the people on this thread that are major contributors didn’t help your cause at all either. Slow your roll a little and you might actually get good advice and feedback from the same people that are piling on mercilessly right now in both this and the pH thread you started.

Peace.

1 Gram per/watt is the most simple baseline to follow. If you have a good setup and keep your environment controlled you should have no problem pulling 2 pounds off a single 1000w HPS.

Out of 120+ replies only 3 answered his question directly so far xD

RIU sure has some good morning reading material.

1-2+GPW and you’re doing well indeed!

But weight is only half the story.. who wants 2lbs of shit weed compared to 1lb of exquisite weed?

Quality over quantity any day. But when you can achieve both? You’ve got a green thumb!

Quality or quantity, a choice you have to make.

6lbs commercial? All the commercial ops local I know of are passed the 100s of pounds a year. If not more. Shit. The company I trim for (big flower cannabis) we go through a pound a person a day. That’s per person trimming. We have 12 at most times.
I think your gonna need more room and light to grow commercial man Your gonna need more than 6lbs. That’s my outdoor on a bad year
A pound a day....you all work short shifts or just BS a lot?

E/(m3/d*g)*(400xnumber of lights) x grow area in square meters

Where E is your air quality
D is your strain name in number format taken from the url of strains
G is the level of accuracy you want

This will give you your precise yield give or take a gram or so....

Per person trimming. Dry weight. Quota is one lbs. 12 people a group. That’s 12lbs a day. Multiply that by 88. That’s the amount of days we’ve trimmed this year.
That’s 1056 lbs of dry weight flower. No we’re not being lazy all day. We’re actually trimming up to 10 hr days. All my group does.
1 hour lunch And as many breaks as we need
What’s your question? Do you trim/work for a an employment grow company? Do you know how much material is not even counted to our final weight for shift? What’s your experience in the legal market of cannabis for you to question my company’s way of processing clean legal weed?

And you get fired for sending shag. So you better make sure you tables pile is cleaned tight and looks exactly like something you would pull out the jar from the store.
