I don't fish but there is a pond in the back yard full of bass and bluegill a few crappie and catfish. Saw a good 10" striped bass yesterday in the clear water. A buddy from work will come down and leave when his bucket is full or he runs out of worms.

Yeah just wakes and baked so easily confused lol. I thought I read earlier in thread your from SD. Should have known you’ve Eaten your fair share of walleye cheeks
My wife's whole family lives there so we moved there while we went to college. That place sucked ass, but the fishing and hunting kicked ass.

I'm from Seattle originally.

Half my dads family lives there, have been a few times when I was younger. Never had the pleasure of doing any fishing though, but I have read about the huge walleye and perch fisheries.

ferocious little things. a couple mins before i caught this guy i was preaching about how a bigger lure is better than tiny ones because small fish go for the big stuff too. the whole boat chuckled after i got this dude and said "SEE!"

although i didnt mean or want one THAT small lol
Had it been warmer and a cool front was coming in? They get way more active then. High pressure and a low pressure system was coming in?

bingo. the only fish hitting lol. That bass is from the day before even they shut down
Fishing for walleye was about the only thing I did in SD, besides going to college, hunting, and disc golfing. I'd go like everyday after school. I had my special spots. One was right next to my friends big farmhouse. I have some tricks too for the smarter walleye that all my friends do now.

Fucking auto correct keeps changing walleye to wallet, lol.
