Hey everyone, thanks for checking out my journal. I was going to write this all down in an actual journal but I figured this would be more fun to share and get feedback. I'd like to keep this thread just as my journal, I will open a discussion thread in yhe appropriate section and post a link.

Anyways, quick background, this summer I did my first cannabis grow ever see the link for that grow. https://rollitup.org/t/first-time-grower-in-ny.1060718/ so after that, I learned a lot and decided to go an indoor tent.

Tent - gorilla grow 5x5 shorty (limited height in basement)
Light - HLG 600 scorpion Rspec
Fan - 6" jet fan 350cfm
Filter - 6" x 16" 400cfm
Soil - fox farm ocean forest
Nutes - fox farm when applicable

Last Tuesday I started 6 seeds in water. (Hot mints) after 24 hours put them in a wet paper towel for 48 hours, 4 popped and 2 did not. All 6 seeds were put into 1 gal pots with soil, this was Friday afternoon. Baggies were placed over top and misted with water. The next day 3 popped thru the soil and a 4th came through this morning. Still nothing on the other 2, they did not look like great seeds. At this time I am keep it hot and steamy in the tent.

I am getting more seeds Monday or Tuesday that I will add to the mix and update this journal on what I plant.

Quick update.

4 of the 6 hot mints popped Saturday. All growing strong. The other 2 have yet to pop, if they dont, they will be replace in a couple days.

I started germinating 2 new strains from @geneticsbyadhesive on Instagram. He hooked me up, and I got a few different strains to work with in my new set up.

4 seeds - black cherry punch x Cadillac rainbow
6 seeds - fully loaded
(Sour mimosa x Mothers secret)
(sour mimosa is mimosa x Goldberg
Goldberg is Jews gold x mac1 bred by capulator
Mother's secret is a green crack dominant hybrid)

I'm excited to get this thing rolling and hope to have a good crop.

Quick update, all the seeds except one popped so far, I also started 2 random seeds in the 2 pots that didn't grow from the original 6 hot mints. Got it a little high on RH, but its early so I figured it wouldn't hurt. I'll be dialing it all in better in the next week or so.

Ok, so this is boring without people commenting or questions being asked. So I will now open this up to comments and such.

Tent update.
The 4 hot mints turned 2 weeks yesterday. The rest all came through and are roughly a week behind, and the 2 small ones are roughly 4 days behind the solo cups.

I have the light turned pretty low, the other day I turned up a little bit and I think a couple plants got heat and/or light stress. They will be fine in a week or so. See pics for damaged plants. Lmk what you guys think

I'm trying to get between 60 and 70 RH and keep the temp high 70s up to 80. Usually I'm seeing 55-60 RH and 79-81 F Temps.

What am I looking at here? I know I over watered mostly everything a few days ago, and I know I probably had the light turned up a little too high, saw Temps in the uppers 80s lower 90s for a few hours before turning back down. I got everything back on track, am I just seeing remnants of my mistakes? Or is this something new? Any help is appreciated.

I've since transplanted the plants from solo cups to 1 gal pots. Tool a couple days but they came back and are looking much better. The 2 random seeds that are 5 days younger than the solo cups are doing the best. And the 4 hot mints are kinda dragging ass. Other than that things are looking good.
Running 18/6
76-82 Temps
70 - 75 RH (when I don't let it run out)

Right after transplant

Did some training the last couple days on the 4 older plants. Put an online filter and ran a garden hose to the grow room. Straight from the hose i get Ph around 6.9 - 7.0 and ppm is 130ish. At this point ive been running just water until I notice the plants show me that the nutrients in the soil have run out.

started giving them a light dose of fox farm grow big earlier this week. They were visibly turning a lighter green. I am still figuring out how much and how often I should feed, so I started out very lite. I'll be upping it today. Picture is from yesterday, new pics coming after I feed them later.

What’s leaf temp and last time watered? How much water?
I'm not sure leaf surface temp, but my Temps range from 75 to 82 at most. Usually around 76-78. Last watering was yesterday morning, gave them a slight doze of nutrients with it. Each plant probably got 3/4 of a pint of watwr.

Everything is looking good after the first dosing of nutrients. The one that I posted about before, is still being funky, one other of the same strain is a lil funky too, but not as bad. I organized the pots and gave them a little trim and LST. I'm waiting to transplant before I put up the trellis net and really train them. The tent is a shorty, so I will have to flip them before they get too tall.
