Nice canopy. Is humidity rising due to foliage? You are feeding every 3 hours, how much is water is being given to plants every watering? Sorry if redundant, how big are the containers? I do coco with drippers in 11 litre buckets and just bought the floraflex floracaps also.

Anyway, nice work.

Pot is 8Litres.

i havent measured exactly how much water each feed. Just that 1 minute fully open gives runoff.

approx daily runoff from all feeds 2-3 litres total daily.

RH hasn’t exceeded 54%.

but that’s not a reading from within the canopy either.

There's a misconception out there that humidity is bad. Lack of circulation is what's bad; the plants enjoy a certain amount of humidity and in fact need it for them to be able to open their stomata and allow more CO2 into the leaves. This accelerates growth with or without CO2 supplementation.

Yes I know mate cheers.

I have across canopy fan and under canopy fan.

I’m not overly concerned at this point as airflow is good and circulation is good.

what I have done is turned my tubular 80w heater to 24hours On rather than dark cycle on as this should increase day temps a bit which should help to reduce some of the humidity.

humidity is always higher for me during colder weather anyway as my fan is temperature controlled and doesn’t run as high during colder weather.

Hey folks.

just starting this journal to document the usage of the @MarsHydrofactory FC-3000, 300w LED Panel.

I will be using this light from start to finish using the dimming function to dial it down for starting seeds to cranking it up and rocking it during full flower.

I will be utilising my 0.8x1.0m scrog frame, the FC3000 is capable of vegging a 4x4 and flowering a 3x3 so my scrog should be almost perfect (width of my room doesn’t allow a full 1mx1m).

I will keep this thread updated at a minimum of weekly.

I’ve only just hung the light as Im just finishing up the last of the previous SCROGS trimming.

Here’s some shots of the light and some buds from the current 400w HPS harvest that have been harvested over the last few weeks.
just got one of these light s for our early veg area, nice progress

Day 38 of 12/12.

EC1.0 pH 6

I’ve dropped EC back, as a few of the leaves are exhibiting an issue.

I want to watch the plants reaction to the reduction in feed to see whether it helps with the issue.

currently runoff EC is 1.3 so it could be a slight salinity issue in the coco.

I’m topping up the res tomorrow and will most likely make it 0.8EC and progress from there.

Topped up the reservoir last night and dropped EC from 1.0 down to 0.8.

some leaves are experiencing what appears to be a progressive Ca deficiency.

so my plan was to drop EC as input was 1.0 and runoff has been rising over the last week to 10 days at 1.4 out.

this to me says a possible imbalance in the coco.

So as of last night reservoir is 0.8EC pH6

I’ve also mixed up a hand feed of just Calmag at 0.6EC which I am hand feeding once per day to see whether this helps to reduce the runoff EC along with the reduction of the input EC aswell as stabilise the Ca issue.

will keep you all posted as per usual.

Progression of the leaf issues seems to be easing.

EC in 0.8
EC out 0.9

once per day I am feeding with Calmag solution of 0.6EC usually before the 3rd feed of the day (which is my time 10pm)

Enjoy.

Day 53 of 12/12 night pic.

After the intial spike in runoff EC and the leaf issue becoming apparent it has now been settled by continuing to feed at a lower EC.

EC in 0.7
EC out 0.8

leaf issue has halted. Effected leaves are still effected but not worsening.

@MarsHydrofactory

Also just purchased one of these to hang on one of my storage shelves for speeding up seed starting before I harvest the room.

Would be nice to see if @MarsHydrofactory make a propagation station at some point with built in timer and lighting etc.

i would be thinking along the lines of 2x10w LED strips mounted to a propagation station for seeds and clones etc that would be cool.

Day 56 of 12/12.
EC 0.7
pH6.0

I’ve setup the propagation shelf. It’s not ideal at the minute as the shelf brackets were in the way for a level fitment, so I’ve angled the light between the brackets.

I will add a wooden baton under the shelf for the light brackets to fit to which will help to lower the light and allow a level fit.

2 seeds sown both Barneys Farm Blue Gelato 41 to go into this scrog once this round is finished.

I’m going to readjust my feeding times tonight to every 3 hours and see how she fairs.

as I’m closing in on the later stages of flowering now from experience plants don’t drink at the same rate during veg and early flower When getting close to the end.

so I will be adjusting my timers to 3 hour feeds rather than every 2 hours.

This will be my last post for a couple of days so that I can enjoy the festivities and be with my famalam lol.

merry Christmas you filthy animals.
