Why the different shades of green

Hello all, my first try at indoor with autos. 3 plants, all in 100% FFOF. One plant was started 10 days later but started flowering the same time as the older ones. So basically all 3 are in roughly week 2-3 of flowering. Other than some minor yellow/burnt tips, probably from the hot soil, I’ve seen no real issues. The pics show the younger plant in the middle. I just began to give a small, about 1/3rd, dose of bloom nutes. Before that it was only water and a touch of fish sh!t.
My question is why the younger plant is dark green and the other 2 are a lighter shade. I don’t know whether the one is too dark or the others are too light. Other than the soil being a little more/less depleted of amendments, all 3 plants have been treated the same. Strain is super skunk auto, under HLG 320XL LED.
For the record, I don’t see any yellowing on any of the plants, even the lower parts.
Some insight here would really be appreciated.
Thanks everyone.C7D82EC5-E17C-4E76-8AAC-15AFCA76519D.jpeg1CE97BBB-E393-4789-96C0-65E0D163F641.jpegC7D82EC5-E17C-4E76-8AAC-15AFCA76519D.jpeg1CE97BBB-E393-4789-96C0-65E0D163F641.jpeg

Because there’s a lack of nitrogen on the older two, feed more nitrogen or the younger one will fade to lime green too

So we clearly have a disagreement between responders....lol
My first guess is since the darker plant is in newer Ocean Forest, it has more of the original amended nutrients left currently. Honestly if the plants weren’t beside each other I wouldn’t guess either one had a problem. The lighter shaded plants don’t look so light that I’d think they were lacking in nitrogen.
For shits and giggles I tested the runoff when I watered a couple days ago. My ppm going in was very light at around 300....I only gave about 1/4 dose of the flower nutes. The runoff was super high as usual with highly amended soil. However the lighter green plants did appear to be lowering from 2500 +\- to 1800......while the dark green continued to be over 2700. I know some find the these measurements and tests to be useless in this type of grow, I did them anyway just to put my new meter to use.
Anyway, I’ve noticed that the runoff from ocean forest, even when I only gave water, was always really high.....and this is the first time it has dipped below 2300-2400. My guess is the soil is finally running lower on amendments....which may account for the lighter shade of green.
I don’t really care what color the plants are as long as they aren’t lacking anything or have issues that I could fix.
Chime in folks and let me hear from some experienced growers. Thanks for everyone’s time.

Different phenotypes.
I’m not well versed on the particulars of phenotypes, but all 3 plants are supposed to be the same....super skunk autos. This is why I was a little surprised when the younger darker green plant started flowering the same time as the others. It was a late addition and is at least 10 days younger.
I’m just hoping that the buds finish correctly and make a decent late Christmas present for my partaking friends.

First …. Stop runoff crap with ffof. All you are doing is leaching it.

FFOF will run by itself for weeks especially with autos. There is no need to compile more nutes on top of it. It takes a while to actually show true depletion.

Also , green coloring will not match each other necessarily between plants EVEN if from same batch.
Also different plants … feed differently . Each plant is working thru its medium as it seems fit not by what you want them too. That fish shit ( hydrolysate ) is a fast acting nitrogen supplement- probably something you dont want to overdo when flowering . Once stretch is over plant will rely on nitrogen for photosynthesis and plant function - but “ flowers “ will move to take up PK from mix.

Autos require very little when in soil …

Matter of fact with ffof you can toss other nute additives and top dress MORE FFOF ( simple water in ) at later intervals to “ refresh “ that host medium. It can be that simple.

Lastly as stated - it is throwing pheno variations.
Look at more narrow leaf on left compared to right.
Different plant - different needs. No need to overthink things.

Have a look around in the hydro drain to waste areas, look at their color.Dark green there on a steady diet of N.

Your correct the older ones have less food hence the lighter green.

There's the start of your issues. Feeding autos early in FFOF.

I hear u....I spoke to the Fox Farms rep at the grand opening of a local grow shop a few weeks back. I asked about when I should introduce any sort of nutrient to an Ocean Forest grow. He advised to let it go w/ just water until it was flowering, and then give about 1/3-1/4 dose of the blooming nutes every other watering.
Its interesting that I was getting minor yellow/burnt tips well into weeks 5 and 6, even though I was only giving water. I assumed it was nute burn, but I know almost nothing about diagnosing these issues.

Thank you kindly for the advice and assistance. I’ve read your lengthy posts on the subject of FFOF and am grateful to have done so. Tell me this....it would seem that OF is short on the very things that are universally accepted as essential nutrition during the flowering stage. When you topdress later in flower, with more OF, why not give the plant a more stage appropriate recipe?
I am certainly not doubting your success doing things as your advising....I’m simply asking the question as new indoor grower....and mainly because I’m sure you have a great answer. Thank u again for jumping in.

look at the nute burned tips of the plants, the darker green on has more tip burn, that's an obvious sign that phenotype needs less N, less everything than the ones who are lighter green. you might want to add a little more nutes to the lighter green ones, but nothing to the darker...

You should have tagged @Bignutes he thinks they need more N lol
