2Water's First Grow

Hey Rollitup fam, I've been lurking, reading, and learning as much as I can for a while now, so I figured it was time to attempt my first grow. Heres some details:

(All from Amazon)
Zazzy Grows 3x3 tent
Linqool 240w led
36w led black light 395nm
Vivosun 4inch fan and filter combo
2 x 6 inch Hurricane fans (the clips are pretty much useless, lol)

4 x MAC 1 seeds from expert seeds
Soaked seeds Saturday 12/3 evening for 12h in fresh coconut water (harvested from fresh young coconuts then frozen into cubes)

Sowed seeds Sunday 12/4 into living/supersoil in 5 gallon fabric pots. Bottom 1/3 supersoil, then I placed a 2 liter bottle on top, filled around with supersoil, then used base mix (no nutes) in the center well created.

Tuesday 12/6, back right pot sprouted with helmet head

Wednesday 12/7, both left side plants sprouted.I lightly sprayed diluted coconut water on all 4. Scratched the surface lightly on last pot, but didn't see any thing. I'm going to give her til Saturday and then call it.

I had been maintaining 75-80%rh, just lowered to 70-75%rh. Temps have been 70-75 degrees F. Lights have been on 24h, now switching to 18 on 6 off.

Plan is to continue feeding diluted coconut water during seedling stage. Then switch to regular filtered water with once a week addition of raw honey. I will top dress with Down To Earth Bio-Live and ewc every 4 weeks. What do you think? Supersoil is a mix of Down To Earth 333, Rose & Flower, and Acid Mix.

First. No way your gonna grow those in there. You need to immediately invest in a 5x5x8 at least. You can use that tent for veg or drying, but your gonna need a flower tent

Well, I guess I'm in trouble then! This is the biggest size tent I can fit in my apartment. I was planning on trying to mainline for 8 tops, is there a reason why I would need a 5x5? I only haveva 240w led

Because they will get about 5 feet tall outta the pots without training and be to tall and spread 2 much, with training they will not have room to spread out at all. 1 plant will fill a 3x3 and give the same yeild as all 4 fighting for light

Second that's a lot of dirt for a lil baby seed. Water with a shot glass and slowly ramp up feeding volume
Thanks, I am using a squirt bottle at the moment. I was afraid to transplant and figured it would be easier to just plant in one pot. I have been reading about watering and water saturation. Thanks to all of the helpful info on here, I have been able (so far) to fight the urge to keep watering. Luckily my logical side keeps reminding me that cannabis prefers something like 30 to 60% water saturation in the soil, or something like, right?

Yeah, honestly, I did almost buy one 20 gallon pot and go for 1 big plant but figured 4 plants might reduce veg time. Luckily (or not, depending how you look at it), I am almost positive #4 will end up being a dud.

Plus. I didn't want to scrog. Seems wasteful to have to keep buying more because you have to cut them up each harvest

Roots need oxygen, can't soak them in so much water they sit in it forever. Fresh water has fresh dissolved oxygen. But not much, you need the plant to be able to drink the water around it drawing in air to the soil. So only water what it can drink in say 24 36 hrs at that age

Your gonna end up with 4 plants of popcorn bottom buds that didn't get enough light, or 1 or 2 plants with big buds. Move 2 into a closet. Buy 2 150 watt leds for like 60 bucks

Thanks, if all 4 survive, I am truly shocked 3 germinated from seed this fast! Was thinking I was lucky when the first sprouted and counted the other 2 as bonus, lol! Would running a shorter veg time with proper pruning and lst help with light penetration? This is really all the room I have, I could put one up for adoption if I ran out of space I guess.

Just go 12 12 from seed in there and prune away. Just remember leafs are the plants power source, don't go 2 crazy and once buds start popping hairs chill on the pruning your not gonna keep getting more leafs.

Thanks, I think I might stay the course for a while, just to make sure I don't kill any off. I appreciate your wealth of experience in growing, just since I am new to growing cannabis, I wanted use this grow to test and learn first hand. Like I said, I can place one up for adoption if space becomes an issue. Maybe it is just my lack of confidence since this is my maiden grow, but I feel like running out of space would be too optimistic of myself. But I do thank you for thinking so highly of me, lol!

If you go 12 12 now they will still veg for 2 or 3 weeks before going into flower, your just encouraging those hormones to kick in as early as possible by going 12 12 now, and reducing a lil light time to help with veg growth as well

Crowded space can result in mold riddled buds. Don't learn that the hard way
Noted! That was my reasoning for mainlining as well. If you didnt notice in the picture, I am using garden stakesto train the 8 colas (atleast that was the idea. Each stake is 4 inches apart, I rotated left front and right rear so that they would be interlinked. Giving each cola space). Not saying my plan even makes sense, and you know way more than I do for sure. I was going to give it 80w of supplemental lighting for flower if that makes a difference?.

That sounds good, would that diminish yield? I'm trying to avoid having to buy my medicine after I harvest

Light penetration and lack of overall watts r gonna be your yeild limiter. Plants are happy with about 150 200 watts dedicated to them, and can take as much as a 250 and soak it up.

All your doing is telling the plant to start it stretch (where it triples in size b4 buds dome off and growth stops) as soon as possible. So yea you'll have a smaller plant but it should help with your space issues. What's that tents ceiling? 5 feet maybe, minus the light, minus head room between plants and light, dosent leave much room

I used the photone app, was reading low 700s in the corners at 12 inches 100% power. I have the fan outside of the tent, so have full head space. Hope that is enough!
