  • I'm new here, I've been struggling with a DIY aerocloner for months now, and I was hoping you could tell me if a 400 gph pump is what may be causing my issues.
I follow a well-known SOP and all my parameters are dialed in yet I still have rotten calluses and only have root development inside the foam collar.

What's the water temp like? Plain water? Pump constant or.intermittent? I would suspect high water temps.

hey jj i’ve been watching ur grows for a while now and know you’re the right guy to ask this question. I have some clones I put out in the end of January to flower. I wanted to get a quick harvest but feel like it might be a little late. Will these clones finish off in time or will they reveg? If they do reveg will they produce good weed come september/october? Btw i live in los angles area

they have plenty of time to finish flowering this spring, you shouldn't have to do anything. You can harvest all the ripe buds and leave as much of the plant as you can and it will re-veg for a 2nd harvest. best of luck.

Hi I'm thinking about buying the 8' x 8' Palram Glory Greenhouse for my backyard this spring to save on electricity because I'm a Illinois medical marijuana card holder home owner.. I was wondering do you think this greenhouse will work for a spring & summer months backyard grow? Oh & also is the 8' x8' only big enough for 2 good size plants or more?

    Thanks in advance
Greetings! I've seen growers online that grow 3-4lbers and when they go to put their plants in the ground around May-June they look like they are about 36"-48" tall, maybe topped already and maybe not. How do you do yours? I would think if you could grow a nice bushy ball-shaped plant that's around the same height as those ones they put out instead of a stringy plant, it would be closer to 5-8lbs come harvest time.

Yes, planting out a 36" well formed plant in early june grown under the right conditions could yield 8lbs. Best of luck

Best way I've found is start under lights ..have a huge rootball...top many times..veg that bitch in a big pot for three months before putting outside...It's all about the roots. Big roots. Big plants...best I've done is two and half lbs one plant but I'll take it..
Im a soon to be grower and ive been studying for 5 days now but i cant figure how to throw the right soil medium together. I want to get FFOF with coco coir, perlite, dolomite, worm casting, and some kind of compost And azomite maybe.Would all these be safe to put together and if so what would be your preferred ratio for mixing them? And should i have 2 different soil mediums for seedling stage and flowering stage?

if you've never grown before, what's wrong with just using FFOF? Might wanna keep things simple the first go around.

Yes I agree either FFOF or HF will work but I just mix one bag of each as I mix in dolomite. But you could use either.

I love how people skip the grow sections and go straight to the source haha
So your saying go ahead and give bloom to both grows... the ones in veg & the ones that flowered early?
    doublejj
    doublejj
no just the ones that are flowering. Keep giving the others the 16-16-16

Okay! Thanks for the help. Obviously you're way better at this than I am but if there's ever anything I can do for you don't hesitate to ask. Thanks again!
Hey JJ, been giving my girls Maxsea 16-16-16 all season. 4 early flowered on me 3wks ago. I started them on Maxsea bloom last week because I figured they still needed the nitrogen for the first two weeks of flower. Is this right? (Also added Epsom salt too)
Don't want to be a bother but I trust you and we live in the same climate. So, I was wondering what fertilizer you use for each stage. I'm in veg now. On recommendation I'm using Fox Farm ocean Forest mixed with Roots Organics Rod75 as media. Thank you for your time and trouble!

Yes I use maxsea for my carnivorous plants. You think that's all I need? I was looking at the fox farm 3 pack of fertilizers but I won't spend the money if you think it's unnecessary? Thank you!

If your sure its the same Maxsea 16-16-16

hey dude, your one if the most followed growers on RIU so i thought i would ask your opinion on a soluble fertilizer that is 7.5-12-36
its made by a company called (NUTRIGROW)

its not far of the jacks recipe of 5-12-26 thats why it caught my eye plus, its cheap.

do you think this is duable with added trace elements?

    thanks

that looks more like a bloom booster formula for use during flowering time, not enough nitrogen. Do they have a formula with higher nitrogen (first number)?
Hey mate I keep feeding my gals and the new growth keeps yellowing after they go green again in a day or 2 do I just keep hammering away with nutes or does this sound like a different issue? They are in stretch so are they just not getting enough?
Hi friend, i want to send one yoyo hanger for you.....for thank you you use our products and tell person you used it...it is Unitfarm honor to cooperate with you...thank you
Hi doublejj. Wanted to post a picture of one of your monster plemons on our BB instagram thread. Are you ok with that? Cheers DST
Do you know if Remineralization in a reverse osmosis system is good for plants? Some RO systems add trace minerals back into the water, and some do not, I'm not sure which type is better for plants

no I do not know which is better. good luck
