I was getting constant root rot. Finally figured out municipal water was the cause. I started using bottled water with Great White and Azos. These roots developed within days and this plant had root rot.

If I were to let that plant go for another week it would start rotting. Where I am that's the best they get during winter. Here is the same strain during the summer. Notice no powdery mildew or yellow leaves.

Well then it shouldn't be yellowing like that. I've been growing for years. This strain does not get fat especially outdoors during the winter here in this part of Hawaii. It gets really rainy and gets way less light than during the summer. Anyway I'm asking about the leaves turning yellow not...

This is a wider shot of the plant in the first pic. I pulled off lots of the yellow leaves but more are yellowing. Fourth week of flowering. This is a cheese strain that doesn't get too fat.

These plants are outdoors in promix and are about 1 weeks from harvest. The lower leaves are yellowing quickly and becoming easy to snap off. Is this normal?

I guess I have to explain again. I'm using stored rainwater that was comes off my roof and goes into my gutters. I know this is full of pythium. It must be from all the dust in the air and on the roof. I had several grows in coco with bad root rot. I want to disinfect my water with bleach...

Need some advice on these outdoor plants. I was using stored rainwater but realized it was full of pythium so switched to municipal water which has calcium in it. Now appears to have calcium buildup and toxicity and also magnesium deficiency. Am I correct?

Just for the beneficial bacteria and fungi. Actually I already tried using the dechlorinator and noticed some negative effects. I didn't know if it was residual bleach or the dechlorinator causing it. The plants turned a bit yellower with streaks on the lower leaves. They recovered after a week.

Hi, new member here. I posted this in another thread but this one seems more recent. Can I use sodium thiosulfate to dechlorinate the water after using the bleach? Sodium Thiosulfate is used for dechlorinating aquarium water.

Please explain. I understand chlorine is the active killing ingredient in bleach. Shouldn't removing it make it harmless to all organic matter?

Of course chlorine will kill the azos. That's not what I'm asking. Reread my post about sodium thiosulfate. This removes chlorine. Use this after the bleach, then the azos.
