    Best medium

I would probably have problems for a while if I used organic and ive been growing a long time. I mix my coco with a random amount of perlite and it gets reused too. probably 25% perlite if I had to guess. Nothing wrong with straight coco Coco is simple. Keep ph between 5.8 and 6.2 Water until...

Switching from HPS to LED mid-flower?

Safe to say it was wise to swap. Guessing that's a 600 hps in a cooltube changed over to 2x 240w QBs. Superior coverage and light output. Not into the leaf stripping but will be keen to see your journal when finished

    Best medium

I fully agree Kushash. Coco for me is simple, organic soil is next level as far as knowledge and requires a keener eye. I will likely always stick with coco but I have a lot of respect for the organic guys. :bigjoint:

Everything is easy when you have experience with it. We all have our favourites but the guy next to you will swear his medium is better. There is no winner for me , just what I prefer Best of luck which ever way you go.

Switching from HPS to LED mid-flower?

Well if you needed to ask you should of probably waited for an answer. My question would be What LEDs? Because you could have just swapped for something worse than your HPS or something that will put the HPS to shame. So what HPS and LED over what space?

Two tent ventilation - Will this work?

Ah yeah I get what you mean now, just didn't notice the bottom corner or the drawing where it goes off due to my screen been cracked. So the amount of heat removed within the light cooling will depend on the air flow speed, obviously an 8" will move the air faster removing the heat quicker and...

    Worth adding the light ?

Such is the life of a grower my friend. 600w should produce good results but I don't own any mars, all my lights are HLG or growlightsaustralia

    Canna Soil and nuts

Once a day is fine in coco, but fair enough. Im sure someone will pop in that has more experience with canna terra. I did find a few threads using google relating to the question and the canna site is full of info if you don't get any feedback here.

    Canna Soil and nuts

Never used the terra but why not go with canna coco and then they are getting what you put into them?

    Ventilation question/exhaust fan.

It wont stress the motor if its a good fan, no different from pushing a few meters through duct, its all resistance and that's what the fan is made for. I wouldn't want it jammed tight to a wall but a few inch should be fine. Im surprised you don't have a duct sock in the tent ceiling.

    Worth adding the light ?

Though mars are not as efficient at 600w I would be happy in that space unless you feel your buds are not as dense. On the other hand a couple of extra HLGs will mean points of light source and you can play around with the height to see what benefit you get come harvest.

    Did Apollo stop making tents?

Ive had lots of brands on the cheap end and never had a problem. Just look for metal poles and corners. Heard bad things about secret jardin the last couple of years.

    Am I ready?

I would leave it a few more weeks. Pistils need to recede more and more bulking to go on yet.

    Ventilation question/exhaust fan.

You should have ducting attached to the exit side of the fan and run through the hole and out of the room/house. If your extracting directly out of the duct sock (exhaust port) then your pushing heat and humidity back into the same room which may or may not be a major issue, depends on the size...

Two tent ventilation - Will this work?

Also if your stuck on 5x5s you defo need 1000w hps. Even a lot of folks growing in 4x4 will opt for 1000w hps but plenty still use a 600 in that space

Two tent ventilation - Will this work?

Briefly , the idea of using one fan to vent two tents does work. But your in an attic and it depends on the temps in that attic as to what cfm you need. Calculating cfm on tent volume doesn't account for the temp of the ambient air. I wouldn't be able to cool a tent with a 1000w light with a 6"...

Need to cool my tent down

Depends on the stage. light stress can look like a lot of other things and leave the grower scratching his head .
