I can move this plant anywhere, that's the beauty about the 5 gallon bucket SIP insert. Its actually only about 4 gal of medium roughly. 1 gal ish reservoir. I wouldn't exactly say the Coco is out of the picture though, the Coco is just sucking up the water inside the reservoir to keep it moist...

The plant just slowly uses the nute water and drinks what it needs. The whole idea that Coco has to be "replenished" or have water poured through it to feed with nutes is a lie. What I did was transplant from solo cup into the sip, and top feed maybe 2-3 times until the roots hit the reservoir...

Ohh gotcha ..I don't water it to runoff for the SIP.

I bought these plant caddys off Amazon that have water catcher trays at the bottom. I water, smoke a Doobie for 30 min, come back and just empty the trays. Its very simple and very effective lol only downside is you can't use them if you have a low ceiling as they add a few inches to height.

All depends on container size for Coco...Im doing 5 gallon 70/30 this round DTW and do every 3 day to runoff in veg and every other in flower. For a smaller pot, you'd obviously need to water daily, but I see absolutely no difference. I'm currently testing a plant with a SIP Grobucket attachment...

Drop to 1.2EC with a grow nutrient, drop all the other useless crap and you won't see this again.

Nah I wouldn't remove any fan leaves...they look healthy. You can remove small branches at the 1/3 bottom portion throughout the grow but I leave the fan leaves. I have 6 foot plants atm that still have all their lower fan leaves green at 7 weeks flower.

Get rid of the RO...cal mag, all that junk. Get you some tap water and feed just "grow big" til the end. For soil I probably wouldn't feed every watering, maybe every other or every third at a moderate EC of 1-1.3. By doing this method, I've gone 11+ weeks of flower with zero yellowing. Most...

You'd have to have a very large container of soil to get to harvest without fertilizing either dry or liquid ferts...so not a good idea unless you have the room.

I see alot of people spending a fortune on lighting, equipment etc but their plants look like trash...make sure you're happy with your grows first before worrying about upgrading lights etc.

Only Coco I've ever bought from a box store was Ace Hardware. Since it became legal here in VA they started selling bags of the mother's earth coco and it's pretty nice. Def wouldn't use HD or Lowe's lol

I have an unpopular opinion that you should use veg nutrients to the end. What it does for me is keeps the sugar leaves and fan leaves completely green until they're done. The trick is to keep it at a low EC like 1.2-1.3. Everyone on here will jump on me about how the nitrogen in veg nutes...

Id be more focused on environmental variables and nutrient feeding than hps vs led...they both work just fine. Im going to do a 600w HPS vs 600w led soon in the same room and compare.

HIDs keep me easily 6-8 degrees warmer in my room. Since my basement is really cold I never have needed AC units or any of that, just some good airflow.

I make my room out of panda film in my unfinished basement....I'll eventually get the whole basement finished and get a "true" room, but for now I just literally staple up panda film and make a room. Use a sticky zipper entrance and done. I stick to HID because with LED I can barely break 68-70...

Get rid of the cal mag and silica...mix GH nutes to 1.1-1.3EC.
