I top dress on top of the mulch layer and then kinda rough it up a bit so that it can fall down deeper into the mulch layer. Then I water it down in some more and the worms tend to do the rest of the work.

What are your thoughts? I've always assumed it was some type of calmag issue. I grow in sohum living soil though which is supposed to be packed full of everything so not sure why it happens

Green cleaner says that it works on aphids and that is what I used when I was told it was mites. Anyone know if it works well for aphids?

That was my initial thought but everyone seemed to run with spider mites so I just assumed people knew better than I did. That would also explain the large number of them appearing so quickly

Its strange, I only see evidence of them on the one stalk and mostly in one area of it.

I've tried a foliar of epsom salts in the past for what seemed to be the same issue with no results. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it again though.
