DIY Citric acid & baking soda CO2 Generator

Hey Everyone, I just wanted to make a post about a little CO2 generator I’ve been working on for the past few weeks. So basically how it works is you have 2 fluid reservoirs (I use a 1 gallon water jug and a 5 gallon bucket) with one being higher than the other so it can gravity drain. Fill the...

DAY 47 Plants are overall doing great, I started LST’ing them I don’t really want to top as I already put them through enough stress at the the beginning of there lives and don’t want to stunt them again. The last issue I’m working out is getting my soil ph back in range. I learned the hard way...

    Co2 Generator

So I think 1 of 2 things either they never done it and get hung up mentally of thinking you need a sealed room and your “pressurizing” it with CO2 which is false or also if you under pitch the mash it won’t light off properly and thus not produce the desired amount of CO2.

DAY 30 UPDATE: So last time I had some severe overwatering issues and almost lost the whole grow as the leaves were yellow and waterlogged and looked terrible. I however decided I would give it everything I could to turn the situation around. So basically what I did was repotted them into 1...

    Co2 Generator

Sure so it’s basically a 5 gallon bucket with a pump and air stone and aquarium heater you can find the build on YouTube. Then inside I run a birdwatchers mash with 2 gallons of water 4lbs sugar 30 grams of yeast and 6oz of tomato sauce. It will produce something like 600ppm within 6 hours and...

Help with slow growth... humidity problems

I had my humidifier in front of a fan to blow it out and across the tent. Also the AC Infinity fans can be setup to maintain desired humidity if upgrading the fan is an option.

    DIY Co2 dispenser

I'm not sure about yield the science says yes, but I'm running a 4x4 with fermentation CO2 generator and I can get 900 ppm vented and 1300 ppm unvented with the surrounding room level at 600 ppm. Unvented is not air tight either so it wouldn't be sealed per say.

$25 for a bag of fox farm ocean forest is really isn't it?

In Michigan its like $13.99 for the 1.5 at my local shop, $25 seems high but then again its all about the economics of your area.

I'm new as well, but I believe the solution as whole should be balanced so PHing before mixing nutes is counter intuitive since everything you put in the water changes the PH, which I wasn't considering.

Thanks for replying, Currently I water when the top inch is dry to touch and water until it just starts to drip out the bottom. What would you recommend? and I will turn the light up to 50% which should be about 220ish watts.

DAY 11 Update: So between the holidays and my own lack of experience in growing my plants had a rough week. In trying to control the stretching I believe I may have light stressed them since they have developed red stems I moved the grow light up to 28in above the pots. Also watering with the...

What's up everyone, So I browsed around the forum for a while to get information on how to go about setting up my first grow and figured I would make a profile and contribute. The Rundown: Strain: Lemon Sour Diesel (LSD) wanted a nice sativa as it seems harder to come by vs indica dominate...
