    Never ceases to amaze me!

How tough cannabis plants are! I planted this seed last fall and it came up in early March, here in Oklahoma. I have not covered it ever, and it hit 24 last night and 27 the night before. It is sulking a bit but it will be fine!

    Potency breeding.

Does anyone just breed for potency anymore? I know it is kind of pointless in the age of readily available concentrates, but I am an old school flower smoker who prefers the effects of just flower. And while I think flavor, aroma and appearance can enhance one's experience, I don't prefer them...

    Auto flower survey

I've grown about 8 different strains from Mephisto and Fastbuds in the last 5 years, all outdoors. All were pretty mediocre in my opinion. I keep hearing that they are improving, but they can't touch good photo periods, effects wise, for me. Maybe some of yall have found some exceptional ones...

Who's ready for the 2024 septoria season?

Going to run a couple of strains that seemed resistant last year and some tried and true early finishing strains from Oregon Green Seeds. And I will try to stress less about "getting to the finish line." Maybe we will get lucky and have a drought like 2 summers ago, here in Oklahoma. And I will...

    Pheno hunting

How many seeds of a given strain do you typically have to pop to find quality phenos, and which breeders seemed to have higher percentages of quality phenos in their packs? My best luck so far has been with Lyme Rising Farms, 5 of 5, all grown outdoors.

Ideas for dealing with leaf septoria

As the outdoor season winds down, I see so many of us had leaf septoria issues, usually causing harvest to be premature. I thought maybe we could gather together in a thread, the approaches that we used that seemed to help. This was the 3rd time out of 5 grows that septoria was a major issue in...

    Outdoor selections for 2023

Here's the short list, got to narrow it down to 12. Primary concerns are warm weather molds and fungus, want to finish ealier than later. Also trying to select for what does well here. Royal Kush and its crosses have proven themselves, so far.

    Never ceases to amaze me!

Cannabis is so resilient! 14 degrees here last night and these outdoor seedlings are unphased! Though one had a leaf chewed off.

    Double OG Chem, Rebel Grown

Anybody else grown Double OG Chem? These are my 2 phenos from the 2 fem seeds I sprouted. I'm guessing the narrow leaf one will stretch more, but how much stretch has anyone else seen? Also, how many days did you flower it?

    Double branching

Double OG Chem, from Rebel Grown. I'm wondering how this double branching will affect flowering?

Another premature ending to the season.

3 years in a row now, every time the buds get to a certain maturity and start to weaken with age I get this. It is a form of septoria , I believe. Once the sugar leaves dry into the buds, the buds themselves deteriorate. We are in a severe drought, just hit 106 again the other day, but there...
