Those look fine for chopping, it wasn't early. It's likely the bud wasn't dry enough before you jarred, even with the outsides being crispy. They hay smell doesn't leave if it's too moist. Make sure the buds easily snap off the stems before they go into jars.

The smell on MPU 3.5 is pretty insane. Definitely one of my favorites.

Yup, and each year you hone in what strains work in your area. Meaning less and less bud rot.

It sucks but it gets easier realizing it can be a normal part of outdoor growing. I cut 3-4 moldy buds a day and throw them in the trash without thinking about it these days.

I'd pay for it if it worked better than Regalia and chitosan. Only thing I can think of on that level is myclobutanil-type systemic fungicides, which I won't spray on my MJ plants.

Your friend's is about 2-3 weeks ahead of yours. If he can hold out another week or two the calyxes will swell and ripen.

Chopped the mains of this Bubba Kush x Old Family Purple today. Budrot started to accelerate and wanted to save the tops.

Looking like today's the day for my Bubba Kush x Old Family Purple to come down. Budrot is spreading too fast for my liking and rain in the forecast. Leans Bubba on all fronts...smells like gassy coffee. I'll definitely be growing this one again next year.

Yea I'd go with at least 4 weeks. 6 might be a stretch with your weather but I wouldn't consider chopping for another month. Nice work, they're nice and fat already.

I'm not in SoCo but in SF, also got the rain you're talking about. Some budrot but also cut it out before it spread. I'd wager most strains should go 1-3 more weeks but anyone with budrot will chop earlier.

Thanks, I'm getting a bit of budrot on it because the nugs are so dense. Amazing smells though. I'd def run it indoors if I could, one of the best smelling plants I've come across.
