    cheap led strip heat sinks?

I looked at that years ago when I built my first light, for me that is way too expensive. I used flatbar for like 1/5 of that price.

    cheap led strip heat sinks?

Personally I'd rather just put some cheap sinks on them but I appreciate the input.

    cheap led strip heat sinks?

That's what I did in the pics I posted above; I got those bars from metal depot or something like that for way cheaper than my local lowes and cut them down with a cutting wheel on my drimel sourced from harbor freight. I'm going to look local this time first. Say, what kind of aluminum is this...

    Looking for a driver recommendation.

One thing I've been ruminating on is the fact that these sorts of strips I bought are custom made kinda like the kingbright etc. They are at 48V but from looking around 48V doesn't seem all that common or am I incorrect in this? My concern is if these strips don't work out or I want to move on...

    Looking for a driver recommendation.

You know what I have a thread about heat sinks and there's a lot of people saying don't even worry about them. They say they never had a issue running their EB's at full power without sinks. I used aluminum to sink my last EB grow and they pulled out a lot of heat even at running them about 80%...

    Looking for a driver recommendation.

Thanks for your input..well I already bought them. I got them on a flash sell for $13 a piece so hopefully they work out. They seemed to be similar to king bright which a lot of people seem to like. Also, I wasn't wanting to run them at 60w. The last EB strips I bought years ago, I've been away...

    cheap led strip heat sinks?

This is what I did before..stupid cheap and effective but the price doubled for the flat bar.

    cheap led strip heat sinks?

What are you guys using for cheap frames and heat sinks for led strip style lights like the bridgelux EB series? I’ve got some EB at a inch width and some kingbrite style that are 2inch in width two strips in one. The last time I built my EB light I used aluminum flat bar that I ordered from the...

    Looking for a driver recommendation.

I've decided to build another light and was looking for a recommendation for the correct driver to use and best practice of wiring it parallel or in series and the pros and cons to each of the two methods. My last light I wired it in series..worked great. One question, I know if you wire in...

    EB series Gen2 5000K

I've found some 660nm strips at cutter..thanks teknik. I'm thinking of building a new frame as mine is kinda ghetto...question is I used thermal tape to stick the strips to aluminum bar and wondering if I could just take a razor blade and run it along the underside of the stip to remove it and...

    EB series Gen2 5000K

I am just increasing the overall size of the light and thought some extra blue might help. I originally thought about adding the 3000K. I guess the general consensus is the 3500K is the best for these strips?

    EB series Gen2 5000K

I've looked for stips with 660nm like the strips we're using and can't find them, same for the UV. I wished somebody made strips of deep red and uv mixed for a decent price.

    EB series Gen2 5000K

Hey guys, I have a light I've already built but I'm going to add onto it and expand it some. Currently I have 9 x the EB series G2 strips but at 3500K and I was thinking of adding some blue. The light is for flowering but I'm wondering if a little blue might help for a fuller spectrum. Have any...

Hey, I ran across one of your threads on osmocote. I'm trying to find a good dosage for mother plants in one qt pots with MG garden soil and a hole drilled one inch from bottom..a soil hempy. The MG soil I bought says it has a 6 mo. supply of food in it but I bought some OC+ to supplement as I...

    led light burn ...lux meter?

Yes, I'm going for mothers. I'm older and don't like the high THC strains of today so I'm strain hunting for strains that help my nerve / muscle and joint inflammation pain without causing anxiety. Most of what I have is CBD.

    led light burn ...lux meter?

Honestly I hate all the mess of soil and perlite etc. The best grow I've ever had was with dwc but I can't pull that off in the summer as I can't afford to run the AC all day and it's generally in the 80's in the grow room which is why I'm trying to get LED/s to work for me. Our summers are...
