I love prosecco and this recipe looks fun to make. I'd probably use a shatter or distillate to remove the "green taste" but otherwise it looks super refreshing especially for the summer time.
This gadget is cool and maybe great for a tight small space apartment. My oven is already paid for and available for me to decarb plant material at any time. Open a few windows and bang! Hell, you could even use a counter top toaster oven too.
Get yourself a infrared temp gun (they're really cheap) and yes no matter teaspoon or tablespoon of the Sunflower Lecithin. Its your call how much fat you infuse too.
Point, click, read temp...move on.
Spend the time to either make your own BHO and distillate or buy that for your gummies. No matter how well your leach off the alcohol you still have that green sharp taste.
The oil is easier to handle and decarb versus all the extra steps in using alcohol washes.
There is so much missinformation, partial truth and just flat out tom foolery here and everywhere when you search this topic. I've made a lot of money on commerical infused gummies and seen many ways of getting it done. You have to read the common trends among all the responses. You have to heat...
Oh man, I love my sugar trim and larf (small lower fluffy buds). All the crap I wont smoke and/or trim before curing all gets extracted and used for edibles. You name it, cannabutter, BHO, tincture...all great stuff when using cured trim. Good luck!
This is a great community of folks here. May I suggest you check out the various grow forums on this site? They have one for indoors, outdoors, hydro and others. Good luck.
Nope, not at all. The step of adding water in my opinion is a safeguard for the long cooking period. If you kept the lid on then you should be ok. If it doesnt smell or look burnt then you maybe in good shape. I never add water to my cannabutter but I also don't use a slow cooker/crockpot.
Oh boy, this does sound like a smelly mess. The analyst in me is spotting two things you mentioned that appears to be outside of your normal routine/recipe. You made a bigger batch (which I doubt is the culprit) and that you used sunflower lecithin rather than soy. Without testing it myself, I...
One day I'll invest in a short path kit to make my own distillate. For those that were watching this thread and not sure how this worked. Sunflower Liquid lecithin is amazing for infusing chocolates with BHO.
The only reason why we're not using coconut oil is due to allergies. I love infusing olive oil but for chocolates it just doesn't work. I can get away with it in gummies though. =)
