    Roots organics coir

I haven't heard of anyone having issues. We sell a ton of it. I have two regulars that buy 24+ bricks at a time. They would have said something.

    Local garden shops are worthless

I love how it's the grow stores.....Most don't even have the space to store pallets and pallets of soil for a long time. I cycle through 4 fresh pallets a month of most soil offerings. I could throw stores under the bus,as I have had people come to my shop after getting a gnat compromised soil...

    Selling to the Michigan Dispensaries

Its actually legally impossible.... Only other licensed facilities will be able to transfer plants to one another, and you have to use the transportation companies. With seed to sale tracking you just cant get around it..... Essentially if you go into the nursery game you will be under the same...

    Rice hulls in Michigan

A lot of the guys that I knew at the Taylor location have gone off to other locations, and tried to mimic the organic offerings. Taylor still has the biggest selection with 4 or 5 shelves of amendments, but no hulls yet.

    Rice hulls in Michigan

New manager at HTG Supply in Lansing said they will have it soon as well. Guy said he is trying to turn that place into the organic stronghold of the area. Has 5lb and 25lb bags of all the Organically Done products, insect frass, various kinds of castings and said the large sized Down to Earth...

    kiss my frass

1/3 peat moss, 1/3 EWC, and 1/3 Perlite. I go back and forth between using organic inputs and synthetic fertilizers.

    kiss my frass

I've been using frass for over a year now, It noticeably improved the appearance, smell, taste, and potency of my flowers. I personally mix it into my medium, but I know people who get the same effect top dressing or doing teas. It's really not too expensive $30 worth treats 85 gallons of...

    Ocean forest beginning to end...opinions.

I am currently on my second run with supersoil, using inputs from organically done. I am by no means an expert on organics. I know people who do really well with the Organic Easy, and most people say the slight yield drop is offset by the much lower cost and higher quality compared to synthetic...

    Ocean forest beginning to end...opinions.

Yes it goes well with any inert medium like promix or sunshine #4. I even know guys using it with OF and roots orginal, but that seems like it would be too hot.

    Ocean forest beginning to end...opinions.

LIke stowandgrow said I would check out organically done. They sell a bagged supersoil amendment called Organic Easy($30) that treats 4.5 cuft of medium and 20lbs of castings. Way cheaper per volume than M3 or detroit water only. OD mix will maybe cost you $100 total if you get the 4.5 cuft of...

    Ocean forest beginning to end...opinions.

Dont do it! They sent me boxes of the new stuff to try when it came out. Did a side by side with Heavy 16 and Heavy murdered it in terms of quality. The bushdoctor products brought down the quality of strains that had done well on the classic 6 products.

    Ocean forest beginning to end...opinions.

Very nice flowers. IMO OF is not a beginning to end option(4-5 weeks of food max), and Bud XL is not a nutrient supplement, it's a natural plant hormone and amino acid product that if anything it's increasing your plants food requirements. If your goal was to put on size, Shooting Powder would...

Ionic liquid nutrients. The ultimate solution. Anyone else swear by this product?

I'd beg to differ. Horticulture is an ongoing science and middle aged men tend to hate change. Doesn't apply to everyone, just another observation. I'd say guys in their 30's tend to excell. Many of them have a few years under their belt and haven't closed themselves off to new information...

Ionic liquid nutrients. The ultimate solution. Anyone else swear by this product?

Ionic is extremely popular here in MI, well at least in the shop where I work. I've heard many a grower swear by it. I have never personally used it, because they are one of the few companies who don't drop off samples. I will say that the overwhelming majority of the users are 40+ y/o white...
