Who else is tired of this guy?

He kind of looks like me if I did more hard drugs when I was younger.

    tf are these worm-things?

I noticed a few of them on the rockwool / Root Riot plugs of my seedlings. It looks like they are munching on algae. They hid as soon as I started watering. They are kind of big, like two grains of rice long. They have a black head and the body is translucent aside from their digestive tract...

    Spectrum King - Phoenix 680W

I'm not very LED literate, but the specs seem pretty similar to a HLG 650r. The light costs $680, which is about half the price of their previous top of the line models. What do you all think? .... Spectrum King’s Phoenix 680W is the new LED standard for 1:1 1000W DE HPS replacements, using...

    Canna-Cocoa

I made traditional homemade cocoa and added a shot of bho infused MCT oil. I’m not sure of the dosage because I rarely attempt edibles, but it tastes strong. If it isn’t enough I’ll double it next time and keep doing that until i find the sweet spot.

Life will find a way. (Clone rooted)

I flipped my plants on the 26th of November and took the clones at least a week earlier. Most of the others rooted quickly. One took a lot longer and rooted a few weeks ago. Today I found this one had finally stopped being stubborn. I kept it alive because it refused to root or die. I’m not...

    Month old runt damping off?

This sad little thing popped late, was slow to grow and then started getting shaded out. I just noticed it had fallen over, caused by what appears to be damping off. It looks healthy aside from the super runt status. I’ve never seen anything other than a seedling damping off, so I’m a little...

    Bonsai Mothers?

Normally I keep a mother in a small pot and keep cutting it back after it gets too big. I’ve kept a few mothers for several years, but space is always an issue, so I have to get rid of an old plant to move a new plant in. Idealistically two plants is perfect, but I’ve grown up to four. Over the...

    Finding a Hidden Stash

Last night I was getting ready to make my last run of shatter with the remaining material I had, and while doing so I came across 8 ounces of nugs in a can that I thought was empty. I've been smoking hard this summer and still have at least a month until my next harvest, so I was about to start...

Cleaning Sticky Fingers / Hands / Forearms

Any fat based butter / oil. Cocoa, shea, olive oil, lotion, ect ect. Mango butter is my preferred choice because it's very creamy and has a low melting point. Slather it on, rub it in and then use soap to wash it off. If there is any residue, repeat the process. It will be completely gone and...

Dutch Leach Trays + Small Pots + Blumats

This will my last experiment before going back to 3 gallon fabric pots if I'm not satisfied. What I plan on doing is using five 6" fabric pots with three plants per tray, pushed them together to form one long slab-like bed of coco. Two of the pots will be empty and used as spacers between...

Adding a dimmer control to a Spectrum King SK600

I bought a second hand SK600 off of ebay for my veg room, but it didn't have a dimmer control. My ceiling is too low to run it at full power. I figured I could buy one and add it myself, but then I learned that you couldn't buy them from Spectrum King. I looked at the FAQ on their website and it...

    Jack's 321 with RO water = 121 > 221 > 321?

I'm getting mag deficiencies in late veg and it's delaying the flip. So I was thinking should I be running the part B and the epsom salt at full strength from the beginning, and step up the part A as I go? Tap water would have plenty of cal/mag before adding the nutrients, so I feel like keeping...
