For the first time I'm deciding to use an organic dry Amendment. I normally use advanced nutrients for my plants. Please take a look and let me know what you think, or let me know your experience if you've used Earth Dust before. I am a fairly new grower, I got a couple grows under my belt.

Ok sure but any amendments you add will not do much without a form of compost to provide microbial activity. An active mix is even more important than npk values. You can brew aact teas or simply add worm castings or backyard compost or bokashi but you need to make the soil active first in order for whatever amendments you add to decompose and eventually become available for absorption by the root system.

Dude that is algae not moss.. Did they actually tell you it was moss? Also, your plants would fair better in fabric pots and do you have any pumice/perlite or any form of aeration in your pots?
Nope they referred to it as algae, at the moment of filming i had a brainfart and said moss. the only instructions he did give me was to scrape it off, and a shortened the time in between waterings.

Fair enough, they should have had you start in fabric pots so that overwatering is less of a worry and the aeration goes without saying, I'm very surprised there is none lol..

When using a peat based mix you need some sort of aeration. It compacts really easy after a few waters and the roots have trouble spreading out.

Also that white stuff you are seeing on top is a fungus called mycelium. It’s good stuff and let’s you m ow your soil is alive and doing what it should be doing.
