What would life today be like without the new world explorers bringing disease to the "new world" and bringing syphilis back to Europe look like now. It's amazing to consider

I just saw this too, amazing. Now the race is on to preserve it from idiots.
I think they found it a couple three years ago, but kept it quiet until they had a chance to do some research. It looks like it will be open to the public. Since it's been exposed all this time, having folks come look at it won't cause damage like with cave paintings.

Daily Mail: Eight-mile wall of prehistoric paintings of animals and humans is discovered in Amazon rainforest.
They used drones to record it. But huge props to the dudes that weaved gravevines together and climbed up there to do the paintings. I heard the story on the BBC radio show, and they said when it was painted, the rain forest was just getting going. Most likely the paintings could be seen from the ground then. Not the case today.
