i been using long lasting grey 12" air stones which have been great. i recently got some new ones and they only bubble 1/3 the way down. the hole isnt even drilled the entire length.. anyone got recommendations for them? i been avoiding the hydrofarm active aqua stones.

I used an air stone for a while and had to replace them so much it was ridiculous I just bought a mini submersible pump and attached a line to the one end and pump it out of my reservoir to the other side aerating and circulating at the same time.

I always used Aquarium power heads with a pre filter. Fully adjustable and just a Qtip worth of cotton to replace in air intake. Massive reduction in noise as well. Stones, bubblers, wood micro bubblers clog fast. Just get the proper size power head and enjoy the once a year cleaning of impeller and housing. Tooth brush is all you need to do it. LOl.

Look across all fluid based products in daily life.
Peace.
