Hey @J232
Stopped in to see your grow.
Are you using the Co2 yet?
Doh...What's FNB? :dunce:

I'm clueless on the dwc, but I do find it interesting.

Glad to have ya man. Yeah I am, not sure if I should of when I did, but the room is pretty sealed up. FNB is GH Floranova bloom.

Some days I feel clueless too, I would be lying if I said I never thought about sliding some pots of dirt in there, I have too much in the setup and I have seen what it can do so I’m still hooked.

FNB Lucas, calls for 8ml per gallon. Calmag I’m going to say is required with RO water, how much, no clue  I’m working on it...

You got this.
No experience with those nutes.

I would be careful about the air quality going into your pumps, it may affect your res water.

If I were in your grow shoes, I would set the Co2 to 400ppm until things stablize at least.
I rarely exceed 900 in full bloom, 600 max in veg. Changes in Co2 levels should be done gradually......same goes for light intensity and EC changes.

Here's a good read on environmentals.
Including Co2.

Ok thanks tint, I have read threw that, good info. I actually set my co2 based on that write up, they say in high light conditions, 1-1250 ppm is ideal. I have a basic controller and I can’t set it that low, it will monitor 900 and up. I’m not a fan of the air pump, I put it in when I first had problems and it seems to help, now it seems to make no difference, I will be removing again once it clears up. I vent the room at lights out for 15 mins every hour, if I just vent, it would keep it around that 400 number, I could set it on a cycle timer too and over ride the monitor for now. Will go tend to it after the kids in bed.

It's been a challenge for me. There are many variables and layers of knowledge to learn....and practice.

I don't use airpumps. They also F with ph, for me.

Full flower....
When I swap out my tank (2 hours disconnect time) the Co2 levels can drop to sub-300. Sealed room, but far from being tightly sealed.

What controller you using?

I see guys running lower water volume that have issues with air pumps, I shouldn’t need one anyways and why I built the waterfall setup. The system is pretty stable, it will hold ph for a week plus. I found out the hard way and even did it again on this run, a ph swing even for 20 mins will mark up my plants. One of the reasons I like hydro is the quick response and correction of any issues.

They are far from bad, I was just hoping the Lucas method would work better with the floranova line over the trio I used last run. I’m kinda making it harder then it has to be, I mean I could just add grow for the 2 part but I’m being stubborn and will move on once I nail it down with one bottle. Will grab a new pic later.

The whol
It’s a grow zone usco2, uses presets and seemed like a affordable/simple way to dive into co2.

Cool little box. Maybe???? For lowest ppm levels....set box to lowest setting, mount it near the floor where ppm may be a little higher.

I'm using an expensive older Autopilot Greenhouse Master.

If it breaks, I have this on my wish list.

Two different plants, first pic, plants a bit drooped, dark, and notice the leaf edges are darker then the leaf.

Second pic, spotting, I will be adding more Ca and seeing if anything changes. Even with my topping and training, I feel they haven’t gotten there feet back yet and kinda just slowed down this week.

That’s a good idea, that wouldn’t take much to do, a extension cord, you can see where it’s mounted in my old pictures up there. That monitor you linked is pretty nice. If I stick with co2 I will prob be looking at something better.

I’m running 750 watts of hid, it’s not a waste, I’m guessing you didn’t read anything but the title.
