Lol no, but its your money. I could see $150 tops if its really good quality (I'm assuming its mass produced) if you're buying from an individual artisan or something like that I could see paying more.(I wouldn't, but I'm perpetually broke lol)

Recently purchased a new piece of glass, costed me $295, i'm thinking it'll be worth it. i'd just like to get some other opinions on the piece.

Definitely looks nice. Having said that, there's similar Black Leaf and Blaze bongs available on our website that cost less than $100...
So, worth it? Maybe, but you could have gotten yourself a whole collection with various accessories for that price!

it's blown in cali. i looked everywhere for an identical bong, or atleast something that looks something like it and couldn't find it anywhere. i insisted on getting that charcoal color, i've also heard nothing but good words about USTUBES.

but they look nothing alike, i'd rather spend $300 on a piece of glass that i'd absolutely adore, then $19 on a piece of glass that i'd be embarrassed to smoke out of.
US Tubes is blown in Berekely California, we highly recommend them as they are the same guys who help us get started. They know their stuff when it comes to glass quality and well sealed joints, which is what you want. Badly blown glass might look the same, but a small ding and your piece will chip and crack.

Just so you can be informed. Those bongs you bought at the head shop for less the $100 are the exact same scketchy import glass that is sold on dhgate. That is why the stores can sell it to you for under $100.

As a glass blower I work with stores all over the US and am saying this from first hand knowledge of the industry and practices not speculation.
You know I be digging in these old posts to necro them. You do custom glass? Examples of your work? I collect heady pieces, flower stuff only though. Spend my money with independent artists is why I ask…

This is my all time favorite pipe. I asked for no razzle dazzle, and he sent me this pretty little thing which is perfect in design.

(Please excuse my haggard white couch. My dog destroyed the brown one and the white one was the cheaper backup that was already wore out when I swapped them. I'm in the market for another.)760A1FF1-F596-4325-8B29-C913FAF6BA19.jpeg

Also the pointed bottom acts as sort of a kickstand and the pipe sits at a slight angle to either the left or right. I had never seen that before. It looks cool both being held and sitting. Very unique.

“Worth it?” Hell no.
Wonder if the op still has said bong, or an unfortunate story about using it with butter fingers.

I WON a Hi-Si beaker bong and ash catcher years ago as a door prize a a head shop. I was just going in to look around! I came home, excited to try it. I smoked a couple bowls.....I didn't like the mouthpiece at all. It was uncomfortable to draw from. I WANTED to like it because I never win anything....but I didn't like it.
I ended up buying a small bubbler from K-Nine Tubes in Oregon. I just wanted something that was fairly small and easy to clean. I think one of the biggest differences is on a molecular level between "good" glass and "bad" glass. The cheap Chinese crap LOOKS the same, but the glass isn't the same formula and the way the glass is heated and cooled makes a difference, too -something about how the crystalline molecules align or something like that. I've accidentally tipped over or bumped my bubbler more than a few times and so far hasn't ever chipped or cracked, that's all I know. And, since I can clean it easily, it never looks like some janky ghetto thing. When I want a drink of water, I grab a clean glass. I feel the same way about smoking weed. That's why I clean my devices on the daily.
