Just use a damn calculator:

Emily's recipes are OK, but her need to get clicks and ads makes finding anything a real pain. My calcs are easier than going through her ridiculous spam to get to a calculator people want to use so they DON'T have to read and learn about doing the calcs lol!

I ignore the rest. I have the calculator bookmarked and just scroll down to it without going through any other pages or reading any nonsense. I do like that it accounts for the 'carrier material' and decarb loss, etc. I generally default everything to '1 cup' then calculate the amount in my recipe based on using 1 cup of whatever (oil, butter, alcohol) based on 48tsp. per cup.

I question a couple of things she suggests -
I'm not sure MCT oil works as well at least at her quantities. I'm switching to coconut oil to see.

I think her amount of oil per batch is WAY too high. Not the strength but the actual volume of oil.

But her basic ideas are good and.the recipes work. I'm trying several others and building my own.

For recipes & processes, I generally look at a number of variants then compare and adjust to what makes sense to me. I do a fair amount of cooking, so I can generally parse out what will work best in most settings. If anything the bigger concern I'd have is that most THC percentage quotes from seed/breeders are inflated and also that I think many have more loss in their decarb and infusion processes.

I'm not going to use the buds anyway. I'm going to make cannaoil. isn't 200 pieces of gelibon too much for 8gr weed? won't they be weak?

I have no knowledge of such matters. i benefit from the knowledge of experienced people
That's why you should use the calculator. I even linked one in this very thread 11 days ago. That's how you calculate dosage. There's no magic or guess work...it's math. Plug in the info for your cannabis & your recipe and number of servings and it'll tell you how strong they should end up which gives you a good estimate.

The other factor is how big are the gummies and how many does a batch make?

It is easier to know how many a batch makes, and engineer the amount of cannabis/hash/distillate you put in than the reverse.

200 gummies x 10mg each = 2000mg thc
2000mg @ 25% thc (2000 / .25) = 8g cannabis
Consider a decarb and waste factor, 20% or more, so 10g cannabis (or equivalent in hash, concentrate or distillate) needed.

At 25% then I could make roughly 600 @ 10mg ea., 1200 @ 5mg ea. Using the original 30g example and 2835's thc %.

Recipes vary, so annoying as it may be, the safe way to do it is a batch without thc first and get your quantity per batch using the molds you have.

Using popular recipes, 200 is the high end of what a batch will make using 2.5ml molds. 150 would be the low end. 2.5ml is a small square or gummy bear.
if there is so much gummies for so few grams, how many do I need to eat to be high?
i made a firecracker and put 1 gram in it, that was enough
