Building a simple 12 site system to grow enough to last 2 people a year or more and be able to easily put it all away between grows. Growing just in the winter. I will use heat from the lights to help heat my house. Room air will be pulled through a carbon filter and used to cool the lights. The air will be vented through the wall, through another carbon filter, into a hall closet. A fan in the hall blowing the warm filtered air into the living room.
A few things left to do before the room is finished.
4 Galaxy DE Gen 2 Ballast running at 600w
4 Raptor 8in air cooled hoods
Cheap 8in inline fan
Light controller

Takes 15 minutes to fill the system then soaks for 15 minutes before draining.
Water filtered with a tall boy
Gh 3 part.

Seeds started in coco then placed in rockwool. Once fully rooted they will be placed in the hydroton.
Female seeds Iced Grapefruit
Female seeds white widow X big bud
G13 white critical
710 Stilton auto

Why an auto. You gonna grow the auto on 12/12 in flower. I wouldn’t have waisted the seed in that grow. Nice room by the way. Nice set up. I would have used some tables to get that up off that nice carpet. Your wife gonna kick your ass if you end up messing it up. Would also switch over to new led as well

Auto was a free seed with my order from attitude seeds. I've never grown an auto and figured toss it in and try it out instead of throwing it away. Carpet will be coming out eventually, luckily the wife hates carpet! It will be a utility room for my other projects when not growing. I we got a 4 bedroom house for just the 2 of us planning on this room being a wreck. Maybe one day I'll switch to led but I got all the hoods and ballasts free and the price of power here is next to nothing.

You really need to put down a tarp
All that moisture will cause unseen mold with that carpet
Good luck
I love how most people's first reaction is the carpet! It will be pulled out. Probably not until after this run but... wife and I hate carpet but the house was just built a couple months ago and that's what the buikders put in the bedrooms. It will be used as a utility room as well so it will be a sealed concrete floor after this run.

That's cool! My only real concern would be getting the carpet wet and getting mold that spreads to the plants/buds. As long as this isn't a problem it sounds like in the future it will be covered. Cool grow room btw! I'm jealous :p

My warnings are based on past experiences
If it’s your house you should be more assertive to a mold issue
My 2 c
There is a reason people are alarmed
I appreciate the alarm as I understand it could be an issue and people here dont know what experience I have as its my first time posting here. It is my house just finished being built about a month ago. Unless I have a spill it will be alright for a few months at most. If there is a spill I will pull the carpet immediately but the humidity isn't going to be high enough to cause a mold issue. All connections are checked 2x daily to make sure there are no leaks. I've grown indoor on carpet before without issue but I am going to pull the carpet no later than the end of this first grow and sealing the concrete floor like a garage floor.
Grown a lot more in soil but have run this same system a few times before.
