400 hps from above + Side lights..effective?

Yessirr! I’m back like I never left with those stupid questions of mine..

Anyways..
Yesterday I installed 2 new LED lights 100w x2 (=200w) I got a 400w hps already installed there.

My questions are:
Does side lighting increase yield?
Effective with a pair of LEDs or useless?
Does it help lower buds?

I saw the original post and didn’t answer, I will now. More light, more bud, put it wherever you want. Would putting light on buds that don’t get much light help? How could it not?

Btw how close can I have them to the lower buds?

I guess there is no issue even the buds are touches the LED board. Those led will are not powerful enough to damage your buds. What is your growing temperature btw?

My temperature at night is 65f (59 max) and with lights on 77f (78 max).

You can hook some 120w quantum board with 660nm as additional lighting if the temperature not an issue.

It’s winter where I am, soo heat will not be an issue for these 5 months coming.
