So I went to a new head shop today that is MUCH closer to my house than the one I've been going to. After cruising 9 shops I couldn't find the mini-vape I wanted and was about to cry that I was going to have to order it online and not try something new on 4-20.

This shop not only had it, but they also did 'online price matching' so I got the Vapir 02 Mini-vape for $130 (with the battery pack) when they usually sell it for $260 :D. 50% on 4-20!!!! How cool is that. I'm currently running it to burn off the shipping chems and what not. Later this evening... :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

I love my hotbox but it is a pain from time to time dealing with the wires, the sliding feet, and the 'handsfree' whip that isn't hands free. This thing is going to be great for clubbing. Load some herb up, stick it in my pocket, go to the club, warm it up, go outside take a few hits, have a good time the rest the night... I'm hoping it hits as well as the net reviews say it does.

Meh, personally I think a vaporizer is a leave at home piece, I definatly wouldn't be taking it out to the club.

When I was in high school I had a $200 piece of glass that NEVER left my house and a tiny mini-graphix that went with me to friends places.

I have the hot box for home usage and since I've smoked twice out of my 1 hitter since I got the vape and couldn't stand it I wanted a portable vape for outings. IMO it's just a more pleasant high and feeling. I practically can't smoke since I got the vape and I definitely don't WANT to smoke when I am because I'd rather be vaping.

Of course it's not as 'discrete' as a one hitter that looks like a cig, but with a mini-vape, but I could hit in a bathroom stall and no one would notice. While with the 1 hitter its OBVIOUS someone is toking, somewhere. The clubs I go to it really wouldn't matter except those who are dry would start trying to figure out who's carrying.

I'm actually a 'volunteer' employee of a swingers club in my area and last weekend my wife and I went to a goth club. Thankfully we weren't the only30 somethings there, I was worried we were going to feel geriatric.

No I've not tried a vape bag yet. I don't know anyone who has one and I don't have the 400 - 700 for the Extreme or Volcano. I actually like the idea of a solid state (no moving parts) vaporizer. The thought of relying on a fan to do the work (and possibly breaking) leaving me with a $500 hot paper weight doesn't sound appealing.

To answer the question on the portable vape and if it's any good ...

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

It took some finesse to dial in the right temp for my herb, but after I got that worked 4 good pulls and I'm doing QUITE well. So I give the Vapir O2 Mini a 8 out of 10, in that I wasted some serious time dialing in the temp, but once I got it figured out, it won't be too bad to replicate.
