6.5fX4.5ft tent setup

Hey everyone. I have some questions about venting, I plan on upgrading to two 600w next grow.

Currently I’m running a 600w for bloom and some sunblaster LEDs along the sides to cover dark spots.
I have the 600w in a air cooled reflector tube venting out the tent to a window with a carbon filter so my neighbors don’t hate me.I’m running a 6” inline fan on low spd and temps have been good this run.
I will mention I have 2X 6” clip on oscillating fans right above my canopy keeping good circulation in the tent.

I’m wondering if I drop the air cooled tube and run two bare bulb 600’s will my 6 inch fan blowing air out the window and a new 6inch sucking fresh air from my house into the tent be enough to manage if I have it hooked up to my reverses thermostat in the tent?

I also have a decent sized Ac unit available if I need to plug that into the reverse thermostat as well.

Sorry for the terrible grammar English isn’t my strong point.
Thanks for the help in advance guys!

I keep my house around 71-73. On a 3x3x72 tent that has one 450w LED in it, I have a 4” fan blowing air in and another 4” sucking out the top. Exhaust air is about 79-81.

Hopefully that provides some guidance on your fan issue question. But you could drop the temps by removing the side lights if you took a SCROG approach. I attached a pic of my plant that is SCROG’d. No side lights needed as there are no dark spots being a wide plant.85F0EDAB-4B85-4F10-A41C-130DB847EF06.jpeg

Looking very nice!

I might have been unclear i don’t have under canopy lighting or side lighting it’s all mounted from the roof.
600w in the middle and 6ft strip of sunblasters LEDs on either side.
I don’t have any heat issues currently with my setup.
I have hit 83-84,that was before I was venting out the window outside hooked to a reverse thermostat.

I’m basically wondering with 6inch fan hooked up to a carbon filter blowing outside my house and another one bringing fresh 75f air from my house into the tent will I be able to manage two 600w hops next run.

I am able to run a Ac unit if required. I have a portable 5000btu unit.

Depends on the cfm of the fan I would say. Aslong As your removing your tent volume quick enough it shouldn't have time to heat up to critical levels with the 75F intake.
My friend has 3 600s in cool tubes on a 6 inch exhaust with 2 inline filters one in the tent and the other towards the end in a 8x4, 2 x clip on fans. Works fine, a tad warm but the girls seem to like it.

Is he running 3 separate cool cubes or all 3 in a Series?

Can you lower your house or the room the tents in to less than 75 if not I'd error on the side of caution and used air cooled hoods. If you can drop the temp of intake you will be fine. If not I'm not so sure it will work.

Well thanks for the help you guys. I’ll see how it goes once I finish this grow and hopefully there’s no issues when I upgrade my lights

That makes sense I run filter>fan>hood>Vent outside house
Depending on my space in this tent I might just run both in hoods if I can fit them

I recommend the double hood for your 2 x 600w.

You are definitely going to have some changes to your humidity w the second light. Just a suggestion.

Happy growing!
