True dat.... but I always train my plants down..... for me it would have ended up same height, but 5 foot wide. Why havent you upgraded the circulating fan yet? How many times do i gotta tell you, that is not enough air flow! Man seeing plants like that almost makes me want to try hydro. But that organic smell/flavor.....If this would have been a 6 week veg instead of 4, I would have still been happy getting the low profile even with 9' ceilings...

I do agree. Given the space if it were me, I'd throw 3x- 600w in Yield masters with 1- 8" cooling the goods and another for exhaust = Pounds out of that space.I also find hps bulbs to throw a footprint kind of like this.

Sort of an oval footprint with a hot center. For good coverage from a 1000w he will need to hang the hood so the bulb is parallel to the short walls which will likely mean a 90 degree ducting bend in and out of the hood. If he runs two 600's, he can just run them in a straight line and coverage should be great. 3x6 is an odd space to try to light up with a single light.
That's an older picture. Why havent you upgraded the circulating fan yet? How many times do i gotta tell you, that is not enough air flow!
Even 2 600's would "getter done"I do agree. Given the space of it were me, I'd throw 3x- 600w in Yield masters with 1- 8" cooling the goods and another for exhaust = Pounds out of that space.
WHAT! WHY? You would need at least 6 of those......That's an older picture.
I upgraded to one of these now...

Thats basically exactly what i did on my first grow except i put the fan on a piece of ply wood so i could easily raise/lower it. I found the hurricane to be a little to powerful even on low. I prefer the two small oscillating fans on opposite corners, get a little more even air flow.wall mount fan on a wood plank, ziptie to top or sides of tent, pretty nice airflow

I would probably do 2 huge plants with that space and setup.... one per light. Trellis/supercrop them into a nice flat canopy.View attachment 4642603
One of my blue orca haze from swami organic seed - not the guy with the bindi the real swami organic seed from (gas) aka (gascanistan) i started counting hairs july 12th. My next run im going to veg for 6 weeks lst and top, try to fit 4 -5 under the 2 600s. In the 6x3x9 and max it out.
Depends what you are growing in... Organic soil? 10-15 gallon plastic or 20-30 gallon fabric if your trying to grow plants that fill up a 3x3 square.Awesome what size pots? I was thinking 10gal.
Yeah i wouldnt be afraid to go big.... just make sure your dirt drains well. I plan to do 4 plants in 15 gallon pots in my 5x5 with a 1000w HPS next grow. The more dirt and room for roots, the less nutrients you have to add.Fabric pots
