8x4 Tent with AC

I am running two 800w LEDs in my 8x4. I will have a portable AC pumping exhaust outside. As it gets quite hot on the summer on top of the heat from the lights. Would it be better to seal the tent completely and let the AC do all the work or should I have an inline fan as well pumping out hot air at the top ?

That AC is gonna pump alot of smell out, isn't it? Is smell not a problem where you live?

I would run exhaust as normal in your situation. When my tent gets hot I turn off the fan and let convection work it's magic. A fan increases my temps by several deg C.

Those portable acs are terribly inefficient, if you haven’t already bought it I’d suggest getting a standard window unit for the room your tents in, won’t exhaust like a portable. That’s a whole lot of light for an 8x4 if you’re not running co2 too, probably to much probably dim them down to 500w ea and have better results

run your ac as outlet from top of tent, put a 4,5 or 6 inch inlet fan at bottom, so you still get negative pressure

wait hold on got that backward dose ac not draw cool air in from outside, then cool it , so run at bottom, with 6"" fan as outlet, just make Shure inlet and outlet are far enough apart not to interfere with each other
