I've a ac infinity cloudline fan. My dog chewed the plug that go's from the fan into the controller. I emailed ac infinity to ask if they would send me the adapter at my expense but the said no because of safety issues and my only option is to buy a whole new fan (f**k that it cost me 200gbp I just need new adapter to crimp the wires in) can anyone help to where I could source one please

I would just order a new one from Amazon then swap and send it back... but that's just me.
As someone who just had to order a bluelab pH pen 3 times to actually get one, thats a real dick move. First one came in heavily used, worn, and filthy. Second one was missing and there was a kitchen timer in its place. Third one was the charm. Morals aside, it really fucxs the next guy in line.

OP, if you are confident in your abilities, any electrical supply store should have what you need.

I would 100% mark as damaged. You wouldn’t be getting it. I wouldn’t be getting it back to them and trying to pass it off as new.

It's not a power lead it's a certain connector that fits into the controller it's one of a kind that ac infinity make

They have used a couple different connectors recently, the larger one in this link (4 pin Molex),

or the smaller one in this link, I think it's USB type C.

You could cut off the connector from one of these and splice it to your cable. Personally I'd solder or twist the wires together and cover with heat shrink.

Another option

It’s called breakage and it’s not effecting amazons bottom line. At all. I’m not saying this is an everyday option. For a one off, I’m not too worried. I’m sorry it’s so upsetting but if I have tried the appropriate avenues with no luck I’m probably going to try another way.
I have been lucky enough to not come across a situation like this as of yet.

isn't that still 100% fraud? you're expecting a full refund - but not returning the actual product received. just because another consumer won't receive it (hopefully - have you ever shopped at Home Depot?) doesn't mean it's right.

also, not sure what your definition of breakage is, but not sure it applies here...?

It’s a moot point, it’s 100% hypothetical situation I am not in. I get it, point taken but you’re not saying anything different than the posts above you. I won’t speak on it again and since it hasn’t happened no need to lose sleep over it.

lol deluded if you think that such a scenario isn't already built into the price and also to think that it's consumers who drive up the price at all
Logical fallacy. I'm not deluded, I do think the consumer fraud scenario is already built into the price, and you can bet your ass that price went up, not down. Thanks for making my point. ;-)

dr bugbee says a lot of shit and tries to sell things to people who want to go to space he is a grifter homies
You may want to be careful running bleach as a preventative, it does irreparable damage to roots that they cannot adapt to like they can h202.
This smart guy can tell you better than I can:
