So, here's my current flower setup, i just had to pull a plant early hence the more-than-usual wasted space. . ..and that's part of what I hope to remedy.

Plants are in coco, 3gal pots. The light in the pic is a 2-bulb 630watt CMH, which I'm running single bulb @ 315 watts. The flowering plants are week 9 and have 3, maybe 4 weeks to go. I have 2 month old veg plants in a 2x2 that I want to fill in the space.

Should i: scoot the CMH a lil forward and to the right, and put a Mars TSW 2000 LED fixture diagonally behind it. . ..OR, run two bulbs at the full 630 watts and raise that fixture to the literal ceiling?

My biggest worry with 630 watt CMH is possibly burning the tops of my existing flowers, and shouldn't i REDUCE power at end of flower not increase it?? Is this whole idea wrong??

Someone told me their TSW wigged out when they side-hung it, so that got me paranoid. But who knows WTF else that person did to their fixture, I baby mine.

Wouldnt surprise me if that is the case.
No heatsink, heat rises. Half the board burning more amps and less volts.
A fan blowing on the back of the board would keep that from happening
