All glass vape!!!

I feel this piece deserves a PSA. Since I started trying to reduce smoking with vape I’ve had a seriously hard time with all the metal, ceramic and plastic crap in vaporizers. To me that’s a step back.

I kept asking is it really that complicated?

No, no it’s not.

The Elev8R by 7th Floor is basically a quart piece you heat with a torch or Enail. It retains the heat while you draw your air through it.

I use the water pipe adapter almost exclusively because this hits so hard you want water cooling. The hits are unreal. Big as you can take. The air way is so open people do different things to actually restrict it. I pack my bowl tighter. Yea!!! Not joking!

Flavor is unmatched in my experience. Heated only by hot air from the room you just can’t get more pure.

If I still wanted to smoke I’d use this to smoke my flower as you can’t really combust cleaner unless you use a magnifying glass and the sun. It will combust if you overheat no problem.

Which is the draw back. You need to learn to heat it or buy an enail set up. After using Dynavap for years this was easy to dial with a torch for me. You can see the heat build in the quartz with experience.

There is just no need to smoke now. It’s counterproductive for me and tastes awful now. I get so much higher so much easier with this vape and never thought I’d say that.

If you like the idea watch some video reviews so you know what you’re getting into. Sneaky Pete nails it in his.

Ya, I want one. I'm still confused on how it works though.

Let me try to break it down...

Pack your bowl. Clip the ‘heater’ onto the bowl and blaze up your torch.

Heat the quartz part only for 30-40 seconds depending on torch. You want a torch that’s dab worthy.

Spinning the piece for even heating. Concentrating on the area the nubs are. You want it to take 30 seconds minimum. I do time it. Faster heating seems to rob flavor.

Drop in your water pipe and start tokin.

Air is drawn in through the now 6-700 degree heater and subsequently through the herb providing convection heat and making massive vape.

The heat will last for a good HUGE toke and one minor usually. Reheats are like 20 seconds torching. Reheats can be tricky but no prob with practice.

That’s torch method.

Enail set up you mount the quartz into the coil and put it onto the bowl when ready to hit.

This thing is so sick it’s all I use now. I’m sorry to say I can’t compare to all the top units out there though so ymmv.

Oh by the way ‘all glass’ airway I suppose. The clip is outside completely. There is a stainless steel screen for the heater but is optional. There is a SS bowl too if preferred but I went glass.

thanks for sharing, really cool concept dude.

You bet! I’ve been reading for years here and learned so much I need to give back where I can.

It is just so simple and cool and I am honestly just a massive fan.

I think for flower vape and aiming for pure flavor this will be hard to beat. You can put concentrates in it too and even combo. I have and it works but I think a traditional banger for concentrates is going to win there. This uses a ceramic flavor disk for trates which I’m just not too sure about using a lot.

There is a forum called Fuck Combustion that has a pretty long thread about this thing. I don’t want to link but just search the name over there if you check it out. Lots of good info and different ways people use it.

I’m happy to try to answer any questions I can too

That is awesome man. Thanks a lot for clarifying it for me. It makes total sense now. You got the All glass version for like $10 more right, so like $114?

Did you buy any accessories with it? Or do you just pop that piece in your bong?

Again man, That's awesome for that informative post. Thanks. I'll be buying one when they've got the all glass version back in stock. Now all I see is the regular. I have no idea what the difference is though, lol.

SO, basically, an all glass vape has been around for decades, it's called a crack pipe...
Yes actually sort of lmao. I’ve tried to heat an old pipe from the outside before and cracked it pronto. They originally made these heater pieces out of borosilicate level glass and those cracked quick too. Quartz seems to take the abuse.

Yes the all glass was $10 more. The other option is still a glass bowl but it’s made for a traditional stainless steel screen. I’ve read that bowl is slightly bigger too which is crazy.

Basically how far do you want to push it to all glass. A stainless steel screen will probably be easier to maintain and less fine will get through. Fine will get through the glass screen but if you have a catch it’s not an issue.

Here is the glass screen all nice and shiny. I put a little course grind on the bottom but fine does get through. Still I’ve been really impressed with it. I’m not all that hard to please though.0C000645-5760-4DB3-9B62-67F42D72FC54.jpeg

Yeaaa man I’ve been isolated with family and probably going half mad. The more succinct I try to be the longer the posts grow haha. Talkative stoner.

This piece is definitely not for everyone so I think the more info the better.

I figured I’d learn something too. Like Rurumo has me wondering if I just didn’t know how a crack pipe actually works. I’ll be honest. I don’t! They’ve been vaping that stuff all along? lol

Almost forgot. Depending on your rig yes. You’ll want a step down or elbow joint of some sort if the hot quartz is in your face where it sits on your piece.

I’ve been shopping for a piece and a lot of rigs would require this IMO.

Also gives you a step to catch anything that gets thru the screen if needed.

It's not a crack pipe. That's just a glass tube and a piece of Brillo pad or something. They don't vape crack. They straight up smoke it with combustion. Not that I'd know from experience, though, lol. Seriously I've never done crack. I've smoked coke, but never crack.

Never underestimate the MacGyver genius of a fiend lmao.

If you’ve seen how you light a sticky brick where you’re actually sucking in the butane fumes - this totally avoids that. Torch is off and quartz transfers the heat.

Little bag of oranges in there this morning:weed:

Is the BOO Useful? If it is , I have a pack i picked up when it was first relaesed. I may have to try to start some, sounds tasty.

My bong is 14mm, I'd probably need an attachment? I'm definitely interested. Does the company try and sell you a torch too? What are you using to heat?

It is from Useful, yes. It’s from one of his S1 packs released in 2019. My only keeper right now but so glad I have her. I can’t imagine more orange terps.

I’m going to try to get a journal up. I’ve run his chem 91 cross and blacken oranges too. BOO stands out for me.

She’s about to finish week 11 here, since flip in promix/compost/perlite/ewc. Pissed there is a hair on my bud in this pic but I’ll get that later lol.

For heat I torch with this chef torch:

D6C876A0-D975-4C5E-88E5-3B9DB53C5B23.jpeg

I wouldn’t go smaller. I did try a big double jet torch too and feel it heats a bit too fast so you don’t need the biggest.
