And things were looking so good

Need some help please, things have been progressing nicely through my grow. I’m still very much learning with only a year/4 grows under my belt. Changed out the res in my DWC (900ppm) ph5.8 temps between 68-73. With room temps 75-83.
long story short I’m approaching 8 weeks since flip and one is looking real sad/limp droopy. What can I do to help her recover. She been getting worse since yesterday. Thanks for the help!72A6CA98-9600-4BFF-9774-B3E071028794.jpeg

Your numbers sound fine if they are accurate. That one plant must have a root issue, maybe that root rot that we hear so much about. Maybe try to get a closer look at those roots.

Quick pic of the roots, which I thought looked pretty good, there is a weird gray color on the very top I had not noticed this before.

could you add another airstone to that tote and see if that improves things?

def see some tip burn though. is you ppm dropping daily from 900?

I have another pump and could get another stone in, but its weak. Up until now it had been looking strong.
I expect the tip burn is from earlier res as i had been running it hotter(1200) earlier in the run.
The res hasn't dropped in water level or nutes since i changed it 3 days ago. Or at least barely any water, compared to before the change.
Got busy yesterday, and thinking back saw signs of this as she was droopy causing me to put up the net, I read this as she was just getting too heavy, but the leaves and limpness of her this am seems to say other wise and send me into a panic.

EC seem way high and the plants tell us the same story.

I would increase distance between the water level and the net pot. One of the main issues for me in DWC has been stagnant water and anaerobic environment at the root core in the net pot because it stays constantly wet and splashed with water.

thanks guys, i have taken a little water out, as i did have it filled slightly higher than normal, but not to the bottom of pot or anything. I also added another air stone in.

sounds like nute lockout to me. i'd think about a min 12 hour flush with plain water and start back on lighter nutes (like 450)
i don't have water on hand to change out the res, and with lights out coming on soon 45min, I'd be doing it in the dark by the time i got my water up to room temp. Can this wait another day, if things haven't improved with another airstone/ a slight water level drop.
Or do i need to get this switched out to plain water ASAP.
Thanks for the advice

When the buds are heavy they fall over but the leaves will still keep pointing at the light.

Your leaves are sad as fuck.

When a plant looks like that it is either to much water or to little.

Got bugs chewing on your main stem at the base maybe? Something cut off the water supply to the plant.

Looks like a decent grow so hope you can turn it around.

the

the sooner the better.
got home from work and switched out the res with fresh water that i had pulled just incase last night. Sadly this morning, 8 hours later, there is no real difference. If i can save her, any rule of thumb for how long she takes to recover from nute lock out? Read earlier you said 12 hour flush but should i wait and see if she responds? aka perking up? pic to show current sad state of affairs. ThanksIMG_1830.jpg

Could just be buds too heavy for stalks

You gotta dig in and solve this man. Are those leaves crispy now? Something is not letting your plant drink water....like...at all...

sometimes when the buds get heavy they can snap the stem.? Did you check the base of the stem?

If the leaves don't pick up in a day that plant will be crispy. You may want to keep it out of the light to keep it from drying till you get tbus solved.

That’s why I’m here! I don’t know enough to solve this on my own, I read a lot here but real world working knowledge can’t be beat.
I did look at base of the stem, looks great not soft or snapped. I will post pic at bottom. Leaves aren’t crispy but not peeking up either.
Didn’t know I should have kept her out of the light, I got res changed to plain water about an hour before lights on, lights are back off in a little over 2 hours. image.jpg

Ooof. Tough one here. Your so late in flower it makes everything very hard. I'd say spray with water but that may rot your buds.

Water by hand from the top with fresh tap water. See if it perks up a little.

If it does your roots are nuked.

Tried watering from the top, i can raise the humidity in the tent it's currently 48, but i know when my dehumidifier fills up i can get the tent close to 60.
appreciate the time and advice

are you using anything to prevent root rot?

can you measure what the EC/ppm is now? i'm wondering how much nutes leeched out of the plant and into the res.
