I wish looking at that pic gave me any idea at all...beyond the cover art being anime style. Kinda like having no idea what the Japanese names mean. Nice set of pistols....

Umm, no, I haven’t...I tried to watch Fate:Zero (recommended by a friend), but I found it unpleasant, nonsensical...so I stopped. Haven’t gone any farther with it or wanted to try any of the other “Fate” series
My brother recommended it several times, so I gave it a look, but it didn’t do anything for me. Sometimes a show peters out after a few episodes, sometimes it never grabs me at all- and I can’t always say why

"Vinland Saga" is pretty good. I'm also liking "To Your Eternity" so far.

Like I said, enjoyed Code Geass, though it seemed crowded in the telling.
Currently really enjoying The Irregular at Magic High School: a silly thing to get hung up on, but I get easily annoyed by “magic” in these things; usually it’s just D&D type stuff, but a lot of it doesn’t even try to be sensible, going for transgressive, gross-out stupidity instead. TI@MHS is, if nothing else, an enjoyable change from the usual. Also not your basic harem, either.
Interesting thing about Hulu: it has a lot of shows Netflix has, but Netflix only has first seasons for things like Durarara!!!, March Comes In Like A Lion, and TI@MHS. Hulu has extra seasons for these, and I think for some others, too, so if you’ve enjoyed them on Netflix, make sure to check Hulu.

Given the frequency and extent that things Germanic/Nordic show up in anime (character/place names (ish), Gothisms, world domination, ubermensch mythos, Vikings, eurostyle knights, etc), and the nakedly operatic nature of the anime ‘canvas’, I’m surprised we haven’t seen an anime retelling of the Ring of the Niebelungen...maybe told as if it were a Japanese cultural artifact....
