Any Ideas for DIY CO2 Setup?

Ok, heres the deal.. (i realize this may be a newbie question but i didnt know where it would actually get answered properly) My housemates and i put together a keg fridge this semester and the keg we had in there just dried up... So, since finals are approaching and we dont want a 1/2 keg sittin in the fridge over the holiday, we thought there must be a way to use the co2 tank/regulator we bought (fuckin expensive) to give our plants a boost (they've been flowering for 20 days) but i have some questions...

is co2 supplementation going to help during flower or is it better suited for the veg state?

correct me if i'm wrong but these types of systems are only on for ~2 hours a day with no/minimal ventilation... and if they're on for only a few hours should it be during light or darkness? with what type of ventilation? (we have 3x4x6(high) room with 180cfm bathroom exhaust fan rigged up for exhaust)

anyone have any ideas or know any links to give a new grower a hand? the faq's dont really have a solid DIY system other than the yeast system...

any help at all would be greatly appreciated

already have a regulator and tank.. just wondering what to do now.. just let some CO2 into the air once a day? or setup some hosing system that slowly releases gas into the air throughout the grow room? would u/anyone have pics of a setup just to get some ideas?

Uses the Rollitup profile
The regulator is typically connected to a flow meter, and that is connected to the delivery hose. On the flow meter you set the cubic feet of gas to be released.

Release during lights on only, using the proper calculation for timing the concentration for your grow area.
