Any potato growers?

I noticed some of the purple potatoes had dropped the flowers and had what looked like little tomatoes. After some research, find out this was normal. I dumped the bag to see what was there and let's just say, my yield was pretty terrible. My first year growing them, so I've got to take some lumps.

The only spuds were at the very base of the plant where the original seed potatoes were planted. No additional spud sites from hilling.

Those little tomatoes are actually berries and if you let them ripen you will get seeds that will grow. However, the seeds will most likely not produce potatoes the same. My flowers dropped without producing them.
